Hey all. Anyone seen this? A "Virtual Waiting Room"??? Am I missing something? Is demand that strong that they're limiting the number of online shoppers, and how long you can shop for? Amazon is able to handle millions of shoppers at any given time. ShopDisney is overloaded?

This doesn't make me want to get in that much more. It's actually a HUGE turnoff. I don't want to wait for Disney to tell me that I'm now allowed to give them my money, but I have to decide in 10 mins. Not interested in shopping Disney now.

I liked it better when they had the store specifically connected to the parks. Found better stuff there. Usually shipped direct from one of the stores on property. It would even tell which store on property the item could be found. Now it's all the same warehouse stuff.

Its about limiting the amount of people that can put things in their cart at once. This is what companies do with limited availability items like concert and event tickets. Its not about the capacity of the backend, its the availability of the product.
