What's This? A January's End EPCOT/Tiny DTD Update????

Things like that happen often on 3rd shift. This is why some walls pop up for a day or so without warning. My favorite was about 3 months ago when a guy fell asleep on a scrubber in the west breezeway and hit the large support collum. Needless to say he's not allowed to drive company vehicles anymore and now he's scrubbing bathrooms.

:ROFLOL: I can only imagine what happens... :ROFLOL:

Seriously, JII needs to have its exterior windows scrubbed, even if it's a half- job. Looks depressing. :(

Moving to WS, there's more landscaping...

Hope he finally hits the road and never come back. Though his friend Ol' Man Winter can stay.

Oh look! Palm trees! How VERY distracting.

Over at the Italy pavilion, the scaffolding is deliberately covered with the beige scrim.

In other words, no "peekaboo" for the day. Note I said "for the day". :lookaroun

Agreed on JII. We were just talking about that in another thread.

And poor Mexico looks odd without it's dome. :(

Looks like Disney won the right to use Luxo lamps.

...Remember that lawsuit from months ago?

Oh, and there's a volunteering button available at GR. It features Miss Piggy and Kermit.

OK, here's that LAL tile I mentioned earlier. certainly found it odd to find it here....

picture.php

Then I found out why.:lookaroun

I now know it was an accident, but wonder if it really was an "accident"...

[/Any anti-LAL CMs out there?]

picture.php
I can't wait for the day when they ALL have walls around them.... :)

Leaving EPCOT, found this odd Mickey ears hat at one of the Ticket booths.

Is this suppose to be that Annual Passholder gift if an APer opts out of not receiving a Disney Day ticket?

And now, DTD - Marketplace!

Lefty's Cashier: "What? Just because I work at a left hand store doesn't mean I have to be left handed!"

Here are those new Goofy Glacier cups. And for $6? :brick:

picture.php

And to cap it off, two new CM pin sets coming in the future. I approve. :D

And that's my Jan. 31st Update!

I hope you enjoyed the pics, and until then, I hope you have a good night.
SMRT-1 and Robo Buttler Pins?!?!?!?:sohappy:

And for CMs, too! Awesome! That usually means a ton of them!

Previously, at Goofy Candy Co. and Club Cool, you could customize your slushie cup with plastic feet and a plastic hat representing different characters (I remember Mickey, Goofy, Stitch and sort of a generic pink princess, maybe it was Princess Minney). Now you get a basic clear plastic cup with the Goofy Candy Co. logo printed on the side (even if you're in Club Cool).

Same price, of course. :fork:

I know the ones you're talking about now! I was going to let my kids pick one on my next trip but oh well, more money in my pocket!

Ok, those cups are NOT worth $6! Really, Disney!?!

I was wondering what the ear hat/pin gift set looked like... thanks for the pic!

Oh, yeah, almost forgot.

It seems to me that the Pin Sharks have gradually disappeared from EPCOT and Pin Traders from DTD. Which I am very happy about. :D Most of them are corrupt bargainers. I mean, a $50 pin set for a small, lousy, LE pin from a DL festival? And also thrown in are 2 Air Force pins? Would anyone really be suckered in like that? I wasn't but someone else would. Sadly.

:brick:

And you don't seem to befall as a pin trader to me... :lookaroun
Ah, good. :D

But they should not even be selling them. :fork:

And I was never too into it. Only about 150 pins.

It was a trade, technically. I agree buying a pin, expensive or what, to trade for another is ridiculous. But it's like a legal loophole. :lookaroun

150? I don't think I ever passed 200 as well. I always have been selective, and don't buy on impulse.

Yeah, that's how they get you. :fork:

And yeah, same here. I comb eBay.

Yeah,some people have TONS!

I have a mere 40,been collecting since 2006. I don't trade,although next trip I may snag a cheap auction off eBay of 10 or something to trade....

Go for it. If you do it passively, it's a lot of fun. Not like me in 2007 trying to make a theme out of it.
