Speaker- "So now that Lights, Motors, Action Stunt ____-"

Some dude- "What? I don't Understand!"

Speaker- "Oh, I'm sorry. Now that LMAX-"

Same dude- "Thank you for clearing that up, you may continue."

Speaker- "Thank you. As I was saying, now that the LMAX is pretty much complete, what's next for our fine feathered friend, the Studios. Is a renovation of Star Tours next? What about another show? You know how people love shows! Or maybe-"

Some other person- "How about another thrill ride to replace a classic, that'll get people through the turnstiles!"

Speaker- "We are trying to turn back the clock a little bit, but thank you, all ideas are up in the air. As I was trying to say, a renovation, a show, what? Well I would like to receive the opinions of the members of the wdwmagic.com forums. Thank you for attending this press conference, now I'd like you to hear our new Magic Kingdom monorail speech, featuring 80% more random blabbering from our old buddy Stitch!"

Stupid General Public- "Hooray, we love Stitch!!"

Well, this board isn't actually for ideas - that would be the Imagineers board. :) This one is actually for stuff that is really happening or could potentially happen, so I don't know what kind of response you'll get.

Well it would get people through the turnstiles. Thrill rides is what the public wants that is what the public will get.

I wouldn't consider the Indy Stunt show a classic. (If you are talking about that) because it is only an ok stunt show that has been running for way too long and well I would be perfectly cool to see it go.

Same with Star Tours. Same with almost all of Disney/MGM's attractions. The only three things I would not be ok see going (because the animation tour and backlot tour have died of recently) are the Great Movie Ride, Tower of Terror, and Rock N Rollercoaster.

Of course the Great Movie Ride is in need to a Small World quality rehab with brand new scenes.

Well, as far as what I would like to see, here goes. Gmr, TOT, RnRc, and star tours in my opinion can all definetly stay. I just feel that star tours is timeless and has atleast for me lost little appeal.

I would like to see indy replaced with something, and not nessisarily an indy ride, any ideas people?

A muppet's dark ride in conjunction with muppets 4d owning their own section of the park would be nice.

A brand new tram tour closer in comparison to universal hollywood's

And better show's regarding the various facets of hollywood and the movie/tv show making process (universal does a great job of this) ie bring back superstar tv, and just better shows in general. And how about a walk through special effects show like back draft(maybe do an indy attraction that way)

I agree with everything everyone is saying, cool ideas. MGM needs something to spice things up. I'd like to see an updated version of Star Tours (to go with the new movie), maybe a new Muppets thing (because personally I'm a big fan), and any Indy ride like they have in DL.

I would like to see them add a 2nd attraction inside the Chinese Theater (Cinemagicque anyone?)

Replace The Drew Carrey sound show or the "Who Want's to Be A Millionaire Play It!" with a "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" comedy show.

An ALIAS or LOST themed E-ticket

Wisteria Lane :D

A new play area themed to making movies (with kiddie cameras, sets, make up areas, recording studios mock-ups, the works...)

A "The Incredibles" themed E-Ticket

An Autopia type ride themed to famous movie cars like Herbie, the Knight Rider car, Dukes of Hazard, The Batmobile etc...

A new experience in the Backlot Tour aside from Catastrophe Canyon

ALIEN (as in the movie with Sigourney) Encounter to go near Star Tours to make a sort of Sci-Fi City area.

The Wizard of Oz dark ride a la Pooh's Hunny Hunt

Muppet Studios

Toon Studios

the possibilities are endless...

I like alot of your ideas, especially the planned E Tickets, and sci fi city kind of thing...i think theme parks are generally more 'Vivid" if each distinct land or area your going into has it's own theme and or facade...ie "fantasyland" or "The land"...MGM should adopt this and possibly create an area called " The Backlot"...the area that houses Muppet3d and the backlot tour, etc. seperate them by titles...sadly possibilities are endless but money is limited.

A "The Incredibles" themed E-Ticket-I would base it on more than one Pixar movie. All WDW has is Buzz Lightyear and Tough to be a Bug.

An Autopia type ride themed to famous movie cars like Herbie, the Knight Rider car, Dukes of Hazard, The Batmobile etc...

The only ideas I didn't really like were the ones that I had no idea what they were. But everything else was pretty cool.

I've had this idea for an MGM dark ride based on the six Pixar Movies, not counting Toy Story 2. It would be called the Pixar Star Spin. The ride would take you about 2-2 1/2 through each movie, and give you the power to spin the vehicles 360 degrees. The final scene would be all of the Pixar characters standing in front of the red carpet, waving at people.

Incase you didn't know, Pixar and Disney kind of, well did, fall out, and are no longer making new movies together. 'Cars' will be the last film released between the two companies.

Is there room for a second attraction inside the Chinese Theater? I don't see how they could expand the show building without cutting off access to other areas of the park. They also need to do something with the old Doug/Superstar TV theater. Maybe Cinemagique could go there?

Some rockin' ideas.

I don't know much about Cinemagique, but I hear wonderful things. I'm not a big lost fan, but man - an Alias E-ticket would just be amazing. I think the chances of it are slim (TV shows have a finite lifetime), but the thought is really nice. :)

A Wisteria Lane walk-through would be AMAZING. I can't tell you how many people I have talked to that are disapointed that the TV-show houses on the backlot tour were demolished. I know people who's prime reason for going to MGM was to see the Golden Girls house (since it was actually used the last few years of the show for the exteriors, unlike the others which were mostly replicas and never actually appeared on film). Wisteria Lane would be so nice...I'm just afraid they wouldn't have the space to do it at this point. I can't imagine it would be terribly expensive - and that would be a hell of a marketing bonanza.

There is an Alien simulator ride (or was) in the basement of the Empire State Building. You sat in these moving harnesses with a film in front of you. It was okay, but I wanna see real "live" aliens. I would absolutely love an Alien themed ride - I only wish they had brought Alien Encounter where it belonged over at MGM and used the actual Alien movies as they were originally going to. In my fantasy, we'd see this segment eliminated from GMR, replaced with a Star Wars scene, and to have an Alien ride on it's own like Indiana Jones. Since the franchise is dead, this is another long shot - but a great idea. Ditto to Wizard of Oz.

Finally, yeah, Muppet Studios (with the dark ride!) is my biggest fantasy that actually has a remote possibility of happening it seems. The Muppets deserve to be immortalized. Imagine how magical that would be!

Some great ideas, stitchcastle. Good rep comin' your way! Let's just hope someone who impelents ideas sees this...especially Wisteria Lane!!!!

I want to see Milliways, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe be built. Or at least see Disney build a time-traveling teleport to the real thing.... I hope there will be the real thing.

ummm.hopefully not.I cannot stand that show.not to be offensive or rude, but I don't think Disney should put a neighborhood like THAT.I mean, children are there. But,they should put something similar.
