Whatever happened to those Haunted Mansion Themed Resort Rooms?

Shame... I think it would have blended/fit perfectly at POFQ.

They could convert Building 7 (144 rooms: 66 Standard, 78 Garden/Water) and considering the resort already attracts more of an adult crowd, I'd suspect no issues with occupancy.

I was impressed with our Pirate room in 2009... the furniture, bed frames, and details were very well designed/implemented. While I personally have no desire to stay in a Royal Room, I'm sure my experience would be just as impressive.

After AoA's (character specific) theming success... and seeing what Portifino Bay is charging for their Despicable Me themed rooms... there certainly is a nice little trend starting!

I forgot about these! I think they're kind of cool. I'm glad they went the Princess route, since I have a little one who is going to love those. But I would've been up for seeing both of them!

I'd love to see these and more. How about a colorful Mary Blair stylized room. Sophisticated. Jungle Cruise..not that far off from Pirates room but more kitschy. They could do so many different themes that kids would find fun but adults would really feast on.
