What would you like to see most in the Jurassic Park Expansion?

I think they are on the right path ... Amber Mine Coaster and Discovery Center Dark Ride would be amazing.

Me personally? I'd like an animatronic filled jeep ride, although I'd imagine that'd be redundant with JPRA ... but I so rarely go on that because I hate getting soaked.

The question asked was what would you like to see, not whats coming lol

But to me, what is rumored is EXACTLY what I'd like to see ... I mean the Amber Coaster and Dark ride are near perfect fits.

My fear is they don't go with this ... but that's just years of Disney value engineering things to death that has made me a pessimist.

I'm also scared of this expansion not coming to life...

-thunder terrace falls turned into a table service restaurant, like when john and ellie share ice cream soup.
-discovery center expanded into more hands on for the kids to play with. get rid of the dino sight thing-er-mah-bobs.
-expand amber mines with more interactive features. add in the 'cage' from book 1 which was featured in movie 3. the trike encounter is no more perhaps this could fit in there? im not sure of the proximity btw camp jurassic and trike encounter though. perhaps this could be the wet zone for kids to cool off and relax. even go the route of DCA and fliks fun fair(e) with small family rides... mater's junkyard jamboree was fun!
-upgrade the photo ops. those are always fun. speaking of photo ops, gut the store inside burger digs and make that a special fx photo shoot where you can recreate the famous scenes from JP.
-expand burger digs seating since my grand vision requires turning thunder falls into a table service location.
-rock wall climbing...great idea but can we please get rid of the temporary looking set up and create something more permanent. im sure that stone from the stage in HP is somewhere not being used...
- heliTOURs concept brought back to life! (jp theme swells)...we already have some hogwarts express technology, use that to create a soarin'-esque experience with a bite.
-the watering hole, its a mess. make it a real bar again. steel drums performers with a deck around the back to sit on the lagoon and watch the day pass.

those are my thoughts on how to upgrade JP... i did not mention anything about the JP river adventure but i think that is a given it needs a nice refurb and overhaul.

i havent read any replies so forgive me if some of this is redundant.

I guess I'm alone in this, but I feel like a Visitor's Center dark ride would be a waste. If it were played straight as a Mr. DNA ride like in the movie it would be too boring; and unlike EPCOTs dark rides it wouldn't be very educational as it's all ficticious. But then if they played it with dinosaurs getting loose it would be too cliche. I'd rather have the helitours or something else more interesting.

I can definitely see where you're coming from here. There really isn't a whole lot to do with a dark-ride and dinosaurs, unless its "something goes horribly wrong".

What I don't want to see is JP turn into a family/kiddie land. Sure IoA can use family rides, but is JP really the best outlet for that?? If you make it with kids in mind, I feel there will be a lot of wasted potential. But I know, it's WAY too early to make those assumptions.

I def agree. No kiddie non sense in JP. Just not attractive and really makes IOA have less for people like myself to do.

Just remember this: IOA has little family rides. Minus the Suess stuff, Spiderman, Storm Force, and Popeye are the only rides I'd consider family rides in IOA. Pteradon, and Camp Jurassic are already aimed at toddlers/little kids, so now Jurassic Park can focus on the family crowd.

You just might get your request....

Just not on this Continent ;)

So Jurassic Park Jeep Ride for Asia or Europe (Japan, Singapore, South Korea, UAE or China, India, Russia).

So, if you rule out the Jeep Ride, you have...
  • Discovery Center Dark Ride
  • Amber Mine Coaster
  • Helicopter Tour
  • Hypercoaster
  • Camp Jurassic Expansion
  • Something yet not mentioned anywhere

Id like to see sarah the 'living' triceratops come back but possibly with more 'living' dinos in the exhibit, kinda like a prehistoric petting zoo.haha

Or along the lines of an amber mine how about a series of tunnels to explore?

I would like a few new effects added to the river adventure, I always thought that the boat should shudder and lurch off course rather than casually drift.
How about a land ride, like the tour cars from the movie??

Yeah, I would like the Triceratops Encounter to come back - always wanted to see it, but never did.

It was a pretty cool experience, I only ever saw her once then the following year she was gone.:(
I just think with the advancements in robotics they could make her as well as other dinos (baby T-rex anyone.?) Even more lifelike

I want to see some real gosh-darn dinosaurs already, no more of this audioanimotronic junk. Jurassic Park is 20 years old now.

I would also like to see a good amount of kiosks and stands removed. They make the land feel far too cluttered with a food or drink stand every 20 feet. Though, it's a very minor complaint.
