What would you like to see added?

I'm sure someone else has thought of this kind of thread before, but I just wondered what ideas everyone else has on good things to add at the WDW resort...not necessarily rides at theme parks, but anything. It could be at the resorts, the parks, whatever.

What I would love to see, I don't really understand why they don't have it already, what with all the different "special" channels they have on their TVs already. But I think it would be great if they would add at least two channels to the televisions. One channel would show nothing but Disney movies all day long every day. The other would show nothing but the cartoon shorts all day everyday. So you could come back to your room mid afternoon, or in the evening when you're done for the day, kick back and relax, watching classic Mickey Mouse shorts, a full length animated movie, etc. Maybe I should go even further and suggest making two channels for the movies; one for animated movies, like Snow White, Cinderella, etc. And the other for live action movies like The Parent Trap, etc. What better way to help immerse you in the Disney world while visiting "The World"?

What ideas does everyone else have? Who knows, maybe the higher ups visit this board periodically and will see our ideas and take some of them to heart.

I don't think Disney would do this as it entices people away from the parks where they're not spending money - UNLESS they made the channels pay-per-view

I think Disney should install no charge ice machines thoughout all 4 theme parks.

I don't know about everyone else but my wife and I carry a wide mouth water bottle with us and we are constantly in need of ice.
We fill it up at the resort before we leave every morning but the ice still seems to melt before 11:00 AM.
I just figure a cool guest is a happy guest.

I'm sure you could ask at various soda fountain locations and they'd give you ice. (I would not ask for the ice in the free standing carts...:lookaroun)

A house for me and my family to live in... on Disney property, rent free. (All expenses paid including food and park tickets, too.)

I don't think that is too much to ask.

Free internet access at the resorts.

More choices as CS restaurants - I know there is quite a lot of choice but a few healthier options would be appreciated. Additional carts selling fruit etc would be good too see too (I know they have a few already but they are few and far between)

A dedicated route for me to get out of MK after wishes without being crushed, run-over and generally abused.

You mean you got to pay for ice when you stay at a Disney resort? :veryconfu

Anyways, we are passholders now, but at one time we used to get a 6 or 7 day pass and I always wondered why they didn't just add the parking into the ticket price... You know, if your plans were for 5 days in the parks, you could add on 5 days of parking...easy...

Here's my short list, mostly having to do with transportation:
  • A 24 hour diner easily accessible by Disney transportation.
  • A small on-property supermarket, again easily accessible by Disney transportation. I would like for them to deliver the groceries to your WDW resort.
  • More monorail lines
  • More interconnected waterways with transportation between resorts and parks. Boats are just more "vacationey" than busses!
  • More live music at the resorts.
Just being able to move around the property in more and easier ways would give guests more reasons to stay on-site, less reason to rent cars and go to those "other" parks, and more reasons to stay up late spending $$$!

Resort guests don't pay for parking as it is so they're trying to get money from people who are staying off property.

Buses that go from resort to resort directly. I am fine with taking Disney transportation until I want to go from the BC to the Poly for dinner at Ohana. Too long. I would also like to see more attraction specific merchandise.
