What would you like to see added to world showcase?

I was thinking about how many people say world showcase hasn't had anything new for 20 years, and people call it boring. So, I was wondering what kind of attractions would you guys like to see coming to world showcase?

I personally wish they would add a charming omni mover type ride like dream flight. An E ticket would be nice too.

I just asked my daughter ,who's 18 and has been lucky enough to do some traveling out of the country. She said she'd like to see Australia added to World Showcase. I'm still fine with what's there as I"ve only just starting visiting that part of Epcot the last few times we've visited and still feel like I have a lot to see.:)

In my imaginary Weather Pavilion for FW, we have Dreamflight LOL...

But for WS...I would love to see Ancient Greece or Egypt...It would be great.

- Brazil (with an elaborate AK-worthy exploration trail with various exhibits)
- Egypt (with a water-based dark ride or river rapids ride)
- Greece (with two-track dueling a roller coaster based on ancient mythology)
- Spain (wit a conquistador-focused boat ride that could use technology similar to Aquatopia at Tokyo DisneySea)
...as well as a Venetian canal ride in Italy.

Can you tell I've thought about this way too much?

I'm going to agree with Australia or Egypt - it would be cool to see a new country. Is there room for one?

I've walked around behind the scenes there, there is definitely room for expansion. just check out google earth.

It's one of the best parts about singing at candle light.

I would really like to see more experiences added to the existing countries. Not that I would mind a new country being added, but it seems like there is very little "substance" to some of the areas, Italy for example. Yeah, you can buy some nice perfume there and blown glass but I'd like to actually learn more about the culture and its people, through attractions, exhibits or movies.

I couldn't agree more.

Absolutely! And with the US dollar so low in value compared to most of the other currencies out there, this should be a good time for foreign governments/companies to invest in a true cultural/historical showcase for their countries here at EPCOT!

Waiting for that tequila bar to open! :xmas:

In other threads I've detailed (somewhat) my thoughts on a Paul Revere's Ride for the America Pavilion. It would be an indoor coaster. :)

I want:

That new Japan ride they're talking about
River Rhine Cruise in Germany
Something in Italy to make it a full pavilion at last
Something in the UK too

And I want five (six?) new countries in all those empty plots! Any would do. To my mind spring: Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Russia, Egypt, Greece, Iran, India, Thailand, Oz, South Africa.

Oz is a country? :veryconfu

I immediately thought the Wizard of... complete with yello brick road and munchkins! But I think they mean Aus unfortunately.

Personally, I'm all for leaving Aus to AK, but I think Greece and Egypt, especially Ancient Greece and Egypt would be great additions!!

Otherwise, I would just go for expanding the existing pavilions. I mean, I'm not that well travelled but I think there's more to Italy than just ice cream and perfume and there is definately more to the UK than the Beatles, tea and trace your ancestors!!

I would love to see something done with the UK pavilion, but then again, I am slightly biased on that score!!
