What would an F-Ticket be?

So obviously we have A-E Tickets, a way for us to categorize the attractions in the parks judged on their thrill, detail and size.

But I ask you, what would classify as an F-Ticket? I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest RSR as the first and currently only F-Ticket.

So lets break that down. It is a long ride with a crazy amount of detail. It has various types of rides in one (thrill, dark ride). It has an entire land to back it up. A huge facade. It can take over 2000 an hour. And it cost over 200 million.

Am I on the right track here guys?

Maybe a private launch into space.

Agree ~ Radiator Springs Racers is the best Disney attraction in America (can't comment about the overseas parks).

The best Disney attraction in America? I'll get to experience it, in person, in May....but based on everything I've seen, I have a feeling I will still rank Florida's Tower of Terror up there at the top. RSR has a lot of "atmosphere", but it's still a glorified Test Track, if I'm not mistaken.

*ducks for cover*

"F" Ticket suggests FAIL to me...

That Stitch Great Escape is a definite "Fail" ticket.

Yes.

The following attractions I would rank as "F-Ticket":

- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
- Radiator Springs Racers
- The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man
- Journey to the Center of the Earth
- The Twilight Zone: Tower of Terror (Disney's Hollywood Studios)

Kilimanjaro Safaris. All too easily taken for granted.

The old two hour Backlot Tour. The backbone of an entire park.

Horizons. Scale, size and scope.

...and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride for sheer zany epicness.
While I appreciate the sentiment, MTRW was a very poor attraction that was not nearly up to Disney standards.

Two dimensional wooden cutouts of characters pales to the design of every other attraction listed so far....even SGE.

I don't agree with ToT and Spider-Man.

ToT is the perfect example of an E-Ticket and Spider-Man is the same but for Universal. They are great rides but they lack a few things the others have.

ToT could be an "F" ticket if they gave it some love that it really deserves... like a good refurbishment with major upgrades.

Let's be honest, the entire 5th dimension scene is cheap and tacky aside from the "surprise" of moving forward horizontally. Also, too much of the ride is spent just throwing the Twilight Zone title sequence objects at you, when they could have instead offered a deeper look into the hotel and story.

I would have to agree that RSR is an F. The animatronics are scarily real-looking and the overall attraction is just mind blowing. The way the mountains work with the attraction... It's just amazing.

I guess is anything is an "F" ticket it would be Radiator Springs Racers. It is certainly one of my favourites and it is one of those rides that blows people away. I consider Pirates (Disneyland version) to be an "F" as well based on how much better it is than WDW's version and based on the attention to detail and the length of the ride. However, not everyone would agree with me. Pirates doesn't have the thrills for some to classify it as an "F" ride. RSR certainly does and has wonderful theming along with a popular movie.

No, an F-ticket would be something like "Dude, Disney just F'd us! THATS IT!? What a waste!"

The Legend of Jack Sparrow at DHS falls into that. Actually... lots of things seem to fall into that of late.

I agree. F attractions should be attractions that suck. SGE, that Narnia thing, stuff like that. Maybe, like a pop said, things that have major malfunctions, like EE...but EE is still a decent ride.

I haven't seen the Legend of Jack Sparrow...don't know about that. I really should go to DHS once in a while to remind myself why I don't like it and find new things to not like. It isn't really fair to say I don't like the park when I haven't seen this Jack thing, the current parade, AI or that car thing from DLP...but I suspect they're all F attractions.

that's a huge stretch, considering there are better attractions in Disneyland. it just happens to be a cool and new idea that was introduced at the right time. that doesn't make it better than anything Disney's done in America, it just makes it one of the best ideas recently come up with.

and i instantly think of a bad, or if anything a highly adult, attraction where "F"-Ticket is concerned. i had never heard about it prior.

Nope it's the best in the US by far.
