The food I had in Dubai at just random places was far better. Everything at Marrakesh was overcooked and bland.

Dubai food is out of this world. The Iranian Indian cuisine just are some examples that are first rate. The hotel breakfast buffets are incredible.

Agreed. Lots of good food and not very expensive most places. The same is true of Japan.
