What will come first a 5th disney park or a 3rd universal park?

I think it would be kinda corny if that added a waterslide themed to jaws; I dont recommend universal should go their haha...that's if jaws ever came back...I might be totally 100% wrong but I want it too!!!!!! I think jaws would fit better over at the third universal park once the water park is finished. That's if it would replace Wet N' Wild. Yes I'm thinking a similar water ride attraction to the USF version but more scarier....I rode the jaws attraction at USF when I was like 11....ya it was scary at the time but the next 2 times I went i got used to it....wasn't really that scary anymore. The idea of making just one robotic shark would be awesome instead of having 3-4 AA great whites in different locations like the older jaws ride. Have the one shark swim around and stalk you the entire ride this time. The story of Jaws in real life they say he was bigger than the one in the movie so make him that same exact size from the real shark that was 32 feet long! Theme it Amity Island to the third UO park.

A fake beach with sand would do this time....have the chair where Brody sits like 15 feet high, fake houses also must be added. My own little creation of a future amity island section at third UO park.

I don't mean to triple post on this topic, guess this might get me in trouble..I hope not but I see no one has replied to this topic for quite some time, whoever viewed my two recent posts of my idea for a third universal orlando park...do you find it wack or corny? It's ok if you say yes...it won't offend me one bit.

Well I just don't see how they are going to make one big robot shark for for example five boats or so. If it would be completed succesfully then yes, but for now it sounds too unreal.

Wait, I can reply "yes"? I thought my options are "wack" or "corny".

Sounds like this is in the works for Universal Orlando over the next 5 years (all speculation at the moment):
  1. Jimmy Fallon-hosted Soarin esque E-ticket
  2. Kong
  3. Gardens of Allah attraction
  4. Star Trek replacing Shrek
  5. Marvel revamp for MSHI (possibly replacing Doom and utilizing Carnage warehouse behind Doom to make a new Marvel E-ticket. Probably Avengers or GotG themed)
  6. JP revamp/expansion
  7. Potter Phase 3
  8. Fast and Furious in San Francisco
  9. Wondersea Island waterpark
  10. Sapphire Falls Resort

I see you don't have universals third park on the list, may I ask why? So you think a 5th disney park might come first? And if they're going to do Star Trek why not just wait until a third Uni oark is built so Star Trek can have Ïts own mini section...if a third park will be made up of like 5 or 6 themed areas like IOA.

Don't forget that Avengers and GotG is Disney and not Universal studios. They don't have the right to make a ride for those movies there.

Just like with nearly all other Marvel (comics) characters, Universal has the east coast theme park rights to the Avengers. Just ask Disney about the migraine a mere monorail wrap gave them.

Whether or not you'd actually see any new attractions in Marvel Island is a murky question.

According to Lance Hart of screamscape he never said in any of his articles/blogs under his universal orlando section that Wet N' Wild will be replaced with a third Uni park. I mean it doesn't say that but it does say Wet N Wild could be replaced with a new resort, universal city walk, etc. some ppl have told me on this forum that screamscape is not always 100% accurate. Yes...but I've been following them honestlt since I was 15 at least; then I found you guys. So I guess a third park won't be coming for like another 20 years.

I'm pretty sure there won't be a third park until the fate of the Lockheed Land is decided - some suspect that Universal is 'doing a Walt' and doing deals under different company names to secure that having missed out on it a decade ago.

Here's my predictions:
1) Kong & Sapphire Falls
2) Water park
3) Lord of the Rings replacing Toon Lagoon
4) Potter phase 3 - possibly including/being part of a hotel
5) Back of USF expansion - probably a new show in the theater, Ghostbusters maybe? And a new ride next to MIB.
6) The third gate announcement, and another hotel - probably timeshare.
7) And on that note, in this time Disney will probably just have announced a new DVC property.

Screamscape is a terrible source for real rumors. Solid news for official announcements, but his "sources" are not usually reliable for the rumor mill.

Stop using Screamscape as your source.
