What ride would you hate disney for if they closed it down?

I have heard that The GMR may have scenes redone soon, like Tarzan, but that is about it. The villians idea doesn't seem to be holding on too well. The whole courtyard will be redone soon though so **cough cough** can be done.

I know its a parade but if WDW ever got rid of Spectromagic, I would have to die. I know its been rumored to get cancelled but I just love that parade. That music just gets to me somehow everytime I hear it.

1)Journey into Imagination, with the original ride and pavillion (Dreamfinder's school of Drama, Rainbow Tunnel, etc)

2)Communicore.

Whoops, too late (on both accounts):(

I cant believe no one else picked up on this message yet...

The "rumor' you speak of is COMPLETLY false. They had orignaly had plans to fill TGMR with a villian themed "cave" system, but the idea was "shelved". Eventually..it may get done..but it was NOT the reason why they built the hat there. They builit it there so that its the first thing you see when going into the park.

Your "good source" has old info ;)

Just clearing that all up...sorry if seemed rude...

Does this mean the hat might go away. i hate the position it is in. It kills the whole atmosphere the Imagineer's tried to accomplish 13 years ago.

Personally, I know I would be forced to run amuck in the streets with a meat cleaver if I found out that Disney got rid of any of the following attractions:

Space Mountain
Peter Pan's Flight
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Haunted Mansion
Spaceship Earth
Test Track
Tower of Terror
Rock n' Roller Coaster
Pirates of the Caribbean

I would dislike it a lot if it were Test Track or Splash Mountain. It was bad enough that Splash Mountain was closed for refurbishing when I went 3 weeks ago. :fork: <ARGH>

If Spaceship Earth closed, I don't think I would ever visit Epcot again. It is just classic. No way to describe that attraction other than it's a one-of a kind (esp. when you take a look at how long ago it was built). Now all it needs i some freaking grese for the tracks so it's not so clacky!

Hi, Rdedeian. I just noticed you are from Leominster. Is that Leominster in the states or in the U.K.? Just wondering... :)

Obviously the more major attractions would be very disappointing (i.e. Space Mountain, Spaceship Earth). I personally was really upset when they closed up Horizons, even though it was quite obviously out of date. It was still great for so many reasons and I think it could have been touched up. Regardless, that's in the past, and I have a lot of hope for Mission:SPACE which is scheduled for next year!!

Back on topic, if I had to pick a ride/attraction from each park, I think I would go with the following:

Magic Kingdom: Pirates of the Caribbean. No question, this is one ride that can never die. I would be so upset if I could never see the dog with the cell keys or "We want the redhead!" again. Coming in a (very) close second is Haunted Mansion.

Epcot: Cranium Command. This is always the highlight of my trip to Epcot and I would sorely miss Buzzy.

MGM Studios: I'd probably miss The Great Movie Ride the most because I'm a sap for the classic Disney thing.

Animal Kingdom: It's tough to say because I've only been there once, and that was before it was open to the general public. However, I did enjoy the Safari Ride and would probably miss that.
