What ride would you hate disney for if they closed it down?

What Ride I would hate to see leave

There is NO WAY I could live without Spaceship Earth. One of the few great ride left in E.P.C.O.T. Center. This one better not follow in the footsteps of World of Motion, Horizons, and JII (which I think is still gonna suck even with the return of Figgy!). They need to drop the stupid Imagination Institute thing and bring back DREAMFINDER!

For the Magic Kingdom.....Haunted Mansion, Pirates, and Big Thunder Mountain. Take these away, and Disney World just isn't Disney World!

......."Yes, EPCOT IS an acronym!!!" --- Me telling off the moron in EPCOT Center Guest Relations

Spaceship Earth. Its thought provoking, moving (literaly and emotionally:animwink: ) relaxing and really cool to be up inside that big old ball!

First of all I'd like to say that I'm a new member, but have been looking at this site for a couple of years now.

Second I think that none of the major attractions should go, with the exception of test track which I was VERY VERY disappointed in both the ride itself and the way it was setup with fast pass. I had a fast pass for this ride and I went through the original queue, which I wouldn't have minded spending some time in if there was a line. They should definitely move the regular line into the main queue area and fast pass outside. The ride itself was disappointing after waiting four years to go on it. I definitely preferred World of Motion to Test Track.

But for new awesome rides to come about, old rides must go. Like I know how sentimental 20000 Leagues was, but who wouldn't love for a coaster to go through there?

Last thing, what is the deal with the Country Bears in either WDW or Disneyland? That is a quality show, that needs, if anything, a refurbishment, not an overhaul or a death. Please email me or im me. Thanks

Sorry, but even as an ACEr, I would rather see the original concept that was Leagues. Instead of something made by Vekoma just to thrill.

Disney is losing the magic that made it different from the other parks. It's sad.

So you're saying that Spaceship Earth can't fall on my head? In other words, I have been toting around the hardhat at Epcot for nothing? Thanks for the heads up, Now! ;)

I did not know that. :)

I like the Leominster in the U.K. I spent some time there last Spring so I was just wondering... Is Leominster, Mass, pronounced Lem-ster? That's how they say it across the pond... :)

hello

I would have to say:-

Magic Kingdom: Splash Mountain/Thunder Mountain and the Haunted Mansion

Disney's MGM Studios: TOT

Epcot: Spaceship Earth or Ellen's Energy Adventure (classic)

Animal Kingdom: Kilimanjaro Safari

*only 78 days to go*
:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Ellen's Energy Adventure is definitely not staying forever since her popularity is more or less dead. And the Universe of Energy will probably get a whole new makeover once alternative energy sources become big in the next ten years or so. The only reason it's "petroleum-based" is because Exxon-Mobile is the sponsor.

There are way too many, it really blows up my skirt whenever they close any ride. If I had to choose? Well it would have to be the following for each park...

MK - Haunted Mansion

Epcot - Illuminations (isn't a ride but the only thing in Epcot REALLY worth going there for)

MGM - Rockin Rollercoaster

AK - Dinosaur

I would have to say the Haunted Mansion. I admit it does need something to replace the spider web portion of the ride with something more gripping but it's a classic, can't do without it.

I would be sooooooooooooooo  if Disney ever got rid of Rock 'n' Rollercoaster, the Tower of Terror, or especially Space Mountain .

Space Mountain is my favorite ride and I've been on it 70 times total in 4 trips! In 109 more days, I'll be in WDW and I will up my record to 100 or more!!!!

Hmmm, which rides would I get annoyed if they took out?

Well, I actually was annoyed when they took out the skyride. Yeah, I know it was stupid, but it was a great way to get from one side of the park to the other, and you could sit down for a bit and relax. And as always, people watch!

I also miss 20,000 leagues under the sea. Never really made me think I was too far under water (sub didn't go deep enough that I couldn't see the surface), but I liked Atlantis and the deep suits.

Now for current attractions:

Haunted Mansion: A true classic, and still creepy. Maybe a rehab to bring the technology up to date, but otherwise, leave it as is! Or perhaps actually put the story of the 'Captain' and his bride in, to give it something new.

Muppet 3D- The last place where we can see the Muppets in their glory. All the original voices, funny stuff, and a great preshow with tons of goofy in jokes. "Like Frankie and A Net."

Beyond that, eh...I'm a big subscriber to Walt's original idea that the parks will never be finished. Rehab, rehab, rehab! if it's not working, don't close it, re-work it! Gut the Great Movie Ride and put new films in! Kick it up a notch on Star Tours and put in four screens, so it's in full surround! Make Peter Pan longer, or more dazzling! kids today are growing up faster then we did. THere's more to be excited by. There's new technology that's out there, Disney should be the first to implement it!

For what it's worth.

MK - Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain

MGM - Fantasmic if you count that as a ride

Epcot - Horizons

AK - Kilimanjaro Safaris

MK: Pirates, Haunted Mansion, CBJ, BTMR

EPCOT Center: I would stop going to Disney if SE was closed or changed drastically. I love all of FutureWorld, so, I hate when things change there. (weep weep for Horizons)

MGM: Nothing really dear to my heart over there

AK: Countdown to Extinction (Dinosaur)
