After the success of POTC, POTC2 and POTC3, what ride should they base a film on next? (I know Haunted Mansion was not very succesful)
But any thoughts on potential films?

The MK already has the Jungle Cruise - maybe they could incorporate the Jungle Book characters into that ride!Oppositely, I'd like to see a ride based on Jungle Book in DAK. I don't understand why they wouldn't have thrown something in there from the get go.
I think the Haunted Mansion attraction at the MK is much more successful than the movie. After the success of POTC, POTC2 and POTC3, what ride should they base a film on next? (I know Haunted Mansion was not very succesful)

Disney Bus Transportation and call it The Twilight Zone Bus Tour of Terror.
this is easy!! we should make one of splash mountain...wait...there is already a cartoon. wait....space mountain!! shoot, curse you the robinsons! I know haunted mansion!! Darn it Eddie Murphy (sp). Tower of Terror? no. Star Tours, stupid Geogre Lucas. could've have a good movie on that one.
oh well just do it on EE.
When I first heard about the Yeti monster, I pictured the abominable snow monster from Rudolph! If it's done right, I think an Expedition Everest based movie would be fantastic! It would be really sweet if Disney could score either Peter Jackson or Tim Burton to direct it!
They could hire the snow monster from Empire Strikes Back to play the Yeti (assuming he isn't retired). Seeing as how that was almost 30 years ago and he's probably lost all of his teeth by now, thus making him look more like the Humble Bumble from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, maybe they should just hire the snow cone weilding Yeti from Monsters, Inc.
My kids loved the movie, but I don't think it did too well either. You forgot the faithful rendering of The Country Bears.:animwink:
 :ROFLOL: ...or just Speed 3:Walt Disney World Under Seige. Keeanu would have to keep the bus from going under 60 miles per hour AND keep making all of the resort stops! :lookaroun
No no no no no no no.... I'm telling ya'll... (no joke)
Big Thunder
Sounds great doesn't it? Just a good ol' classic Western.. Disney style. The thing that MADE Pirates so successful (Sparrow aside if we can even do that) according to the Verbinski camp and tons of reviews, was that it was the classic epic Pirates movie, only better and with Disney style. Haunted Mansion sucked it up because, who cares?? Eddie Murphy's days have far come and gone.. Anyone see Norbit? :hurl: Absolutely ridiculous, although seeing the nods to the ride were great, that doesn't make a great movie for EVERYONE like Pirates did with minimal nods to the ride. I am excited about Jungle Cruise (another classic genre that has great potential) but just thinking about Big Thunder, a wild west setting with a little of that Hillbilly feel that the ride has, you got your mining town, a flood, a cowboy hero, romance, a Great soundtrack in the making... What more could you ask for? A+ all the way. I wouldn't think the train deal would play a major role in the film, maybe a last minute action sequence (ie. Temple of Doom(ish) through the mines.. you know, keep it classy.
I have always thought that BTMR could be a good movie if you used the backstory that is told on the Walt Disney World Railroad.GRAAAAAH!!!!!
MURDEROUS RAGE!!!!!!1one
Seriously though, if westerns were more popular, I think Big Thunder Mountain could make a great movie. I notice that noone has mentioned the Country Bears movie. hehe
