What ride needs an update the most?

I don't want to repeat any of the previous answers, so I'll throw in the railroad. The disneyland railroad is so much nicer.

Space mountain for obvious reasons.

Magic Carpets of Aladdin is in desperate need of a refurb. You can hear that thing squeaking throughout Adventureland.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin needs to be closed and deep cleaned. It’s filthy. The black lights don’t do that attraction any favors. I’m also hopeful the pterodactyl will fly again someday.

I think Tomorrowland Speedway could benefit immensely from a full upgrade. Electric cars that actually steer, look cool, updated queue and scenery, etc. There are so many theming things you could do with it, whether Disney-IP related or not, the most obvious being a Cars themed ride for WDW.

This ride gets a lot of flack from people but from a kid's point of view, what child out there doesn't want to experience what it's like to drive a car?! All of them. They all want to experience that thrill, and it's a real thrill for a kid when you get behind that wheel. Some of my best memories at Disney are when I was young and I couldn't even reach the pedals but my grandparents would press them while I "steered" the car around the track.

In my opinion, it was a great ride for kids when I was young and still has a ton of potential if they would just put some time and money into modernizing it. All the talk I see of people wanting to get rid of it makes me sad and I don't think many people see the potential, especially from a kid's point of view.

Honestly the Speedway was awesome for a long time. I used to love it when I was little. I always loved any chance I could get to drive anything at all. To me the Speedway was getting ready for tomorrow more than anything else in Tommorrowland. My tomorrow would be driving. But at this point I’m fully expect kids being born today to never drive a car. Manual control of a vehicle will become like a manual transmission these days. Driving is unfortunately going to become a thing of the past. It could benefit from a complete overhaul, but I think it’s more likely it goes away than gets a major overhaul. It’s too bad really.

Agreed on the inevitability of people not driving at some point in the future. As much as I love driving, I am looking forward to the benefits of not having to deal with distracted drivers anymore (if that happens in my lifetime). But that's a conversation for another time and I digress.

If that scenario is the future, then maybe the ride doesn't fit the "Tomorrowland" theme. But to me, it means an even more attractive ride for kids who get to experience that thing from the past. Or maybe not. I guess every kid will be different. Me? I wanna race. I might as well have been strapping into a Formula One car when I was little getting behind that wheel.

Spaceship Earth. I"ll thank the Phoenicians if they update the ride and dialogue. (I know. I hear it's due for a two-year refurb. Probably sometime after Guardians or Rat opens).
