I've been really pleased over the past few years with the Haunted Mansion refurbs. I remember for a while when the stretching room had illusion-killing creases in the wallpaper, some of the heads stayed behind the tombstones, ect...
All the improvements there have been really well done, including the latest to the que and the HH-ghosts!
Dinosaur was pretty much all working last time I was there, including the compys and the Pterodactyl. It's been hit and miss over the past few years, so that made me happy.
I think they really really need to update more than the ending presentation on the Great Movie Ride. So many other great scenes from other great films could easily be added:
A scene with Frodo and Sam staring up at Mordor, Smeagol lurking somewhere on a rock to replace Tarzans room.
Neo dodging bullets in the Matrix, the room flooding in and out of green scrolling binary all over the walls where Alien was.
A collage of scary movie monsters where the Indiana Jones tombs are.
The synthesizer scene from Close Encounters with a ship looming overhead.
Maybe some superheroes now that Disney has Marvel!
I realize that this would all fall under copyright issues, but it's just ideas.
What does everyone else think would be a good addition to the Great Movie Ride now??:drevil:
