What ride going away would bother you the most

Years ago, I'd have said Pirates of the Caribbean, but I feel like its soul has already been significantly stolen by the Johnny Depp makeover and the addition of anachronistic voicework, so in a sense, it's already partly gone.

At this point, it would be Haunted Mansion I'd miss the most. While that attraction, too, has seen "improvements" that weren't 100% successful (specifically, I don't think the cluttered Constance attic scene and projection work, which doesn't fit the style of the rest of the attraction, was an improvement over the beating-heart bride), it was and always will be one of the highest and best examples of quintessential Disney magic to me.

Now that Splash is gone, what ride would crush you if tomorrow they decided to retheme or close it.

for me its living with the land, there is nothing else like it and it reminds me of classic epcot, and there will never be another like it at a disney park and if rethemed would be nothing like what it is. I also fear someday it will be gone.

Muppets is another, while it could be cleaned and even updated, everytime in the parks I always go in there because I fear it might not be there when I return.

Yeah pirates has definitely seen better days. Wish they'd just replace it now to be honest.

Haunted Mansion is the obvious one for me. 2nd wouldn't technically be a full removal, but would be DL's Space Mountain just becoming Hyperspace forever.

Given how underbuilt the parks are right now, I'd mourn the loss of anything.
After thinking it over and looking through the posts, THIS is the best answer and it’s so true. When you re skin or replace one attraction for another, you do not increase park capacity most of the time.

They closed Stitch and never reopened or replaced it, losing park capacity.

They need to reopen Stitch or re theme it. If it was me, I would leave the seating and restraints as is and create some kind of augmented reality attraction that requires AR headsets. It would be a fast turnaround and leaves the possibilities to change the content at will.

For me, expedition Everest, I’d be gutted to be honest , I love that attraction , my wife also . Also I think carousel of progress would be for me a real shame . Nice post 👍
