What other franchises would work in Universal?

The First thing Universal needs to do is update the attractions that our outdated(or replace them entirely)

Universal Studios Florida​

Shrek: Rumors say that this attraction is on its way out. Considering that Shrek is over and the last two movies were a bore this needs to go soon, it's sad that you can buy the same movie they show at Universal pretty much anywhere, this needs to be replaced with a walk through attraction, considering that USF is lacking a true walkthrough attraction,Classic Monsters? Except I heard something about a Borgin and Burkes in WWOHP phase 2)​

Twister: I hate this thing! The movie is way outdated, the special effects are cheap, and overall it's just plain boring IMO. They could do wonders with bringing some kind of indoor water ride back here(think POTC) considering with JAWS gone USF needs a water ride. Maybe​

Revenge of the Mummy: It could use a few updates, the fake exit scene looks pretty bad along with the first scene.​

Fear Factor Live: Replace this with some kind of James Bond show! Maybe a stunt show? anything but FFL​

Terminator 2: Updates rumored, possibly updating Special Effects​

Kidzone: completely retheme it to Spongebob, make E.T. part of Hollywood with an update tied in as well​

Islands of Adventure​

Marvel Super Hero Island: Unless Disney will allow them to make changes and add rides(Which they wont), MSHI needs to be rethemed in the next 5-10 years. I would love to see if they could get their hands on the DC rights from Six Flags, they MIGHT be regional.​

I agree with pulling Shrek out and the updates to other attractions you mentioned but I don't thing twister should be pulled,just have its effects updated.

With regards to MSHI It should just stay as it is,it's very true to the marvel comics,maybe a bit of a restyle here and there but it should stay as it is.
And universal using DC would just be stupid,DC isn't as big a franchise as marvel.out of all the characters there's only batman and superman that people know well.marvel on the other hand has many many more.X-men,Spider-Man,the hulk,iron man,Thor,captain America,daredevil to name a few.

Also if they did use DC they would have to stay true to the comics which are very dark and not very kid friendly,that's one reason why the dark night movies worked so well,because it was very close to how batman was written originally.very dark and sinister.

I like some of you other franchise ideas though.especially the Hanna and barberra characters I miss them.
Do universal still own the rights to Star Trek? They used to have an attraction way back right? A new star treck attraction based on the new movie reboot would be awesome.
