Jack Wagner was a radio announcer (D.J., I think) in Los Angeles, hired by Walt Disney to record a few announcements for the soon-to-open Disneyland. That temporary assignment led to a long Disney career.disneydummy125 said:Hopefully Monorail Guy will stay and this is just temporary. His voice is a nice little reminder of where I am.
Yes but Jack was not the most recent narrator for the WDW monorails.cm1988 said:Jack Wagner was a radio announcer (D.J., I think) in Los Angeles, hired by Walt Disney to record a few announcements for the soon-to-open Disneyland. That temporary assignment led to a long Disney career.

I believe that the original WDW monorail voice was Jack Wagner. At some point he was replaced by, I think Matt Hansen or something like that. This was the voice up untill recently.TikiBears said:I thought that the original WDW monorails from 71' to 91' where voiced by Jack Wagner? Who voiced the MARK VI trains from 91' to last Tuesday? He was much younger...
I don't know. I think at one point the voice was Kevin Miles. Then replaced by Matt Hansen, and now replaced again.TikiBears said:Who is Matt Hansen?
That is correct, the one that has been doing it for years is Mathew Hanson. He worked in Monorails back in the late 80's early 90's. He left for Guest Relations and last I heard he was working at the Cruise Line office in Celebration. Don;t know who the new guy is.peter11435 said:Yes but Jack was not the most recent narrator for the WDW monorails.
I don;t believe Kevin ever did monorail narration, on ly Matt. Kevin is strickly Magic Music Days and Epcot. I think Kevin is still in Voices of Liberty.peter11435 said:I don't know. I think at one point the voice was Kevin Miles. Then replaced by Matt Hansen, and now replaced again.
