What new retail and dining locations would you like to see added to DTD?

 I'm ashamed of myself. And, actually, it would fit in. Maybe it was just a bad experience. I remember the restaurant being cool, but just not being super stoked on the food. In my defense this was seven years ago or so. Jesus.

With an apology like that how could I not accept. Hugs and giggles all around. Someone pointed out in another thread that the purple smiley guarantees apology acceptance. Can't refuse.

Again, since we're spit-balling here, and since we know it's going to be nothing but Sephoras and Applebees, I'm throwing this out there.

I'd like them to build a Disney owned and operated microbrewery. I'd like them to brew 5-6 Disney specific beers, theme them after characters. The Horace Horsecollar Hefeweizen. The Donald Duck Doppelbock. etc.

I'd like the brewery to be decorated in early Disney memorabilia, artwork inspired by early Disney cartoons, newspaper comics, etc. Done tastefully obviously, as we're talking about an adult crowd here.

With a true outdoor beirgarten overlooking the lake. Kind of like the beirgarten pictured but with a lakeview.

I love to see a good Brazilian churrascaria, a good Thai restaurrant and maybe a designer chef restaurant, maybe Booby Flay's. I would also like to see a store that sells retro disney items and resort specific items, not that it would ever happen.

All of you who are going on about wanting a microbrewery pub need to get yourselves out to Denver. Denver (and all of CO) is now ground zero for all kinds of breweries (from 1/2 barrel set-ups to - obviously - Coors).

Yeah, and don't make any arguments to me about OR or CA (while I do love, love Stone). Colorado is where it is at. And the state is also developing quite a distillery industry (Stranahans and Leopold Bros being standouts).

At the very least, something like the Yard House would be very cool. But if it is a Gordon Biersch, I want no part of it. One, b/c their beer is not that great, and two, b/c I boycott them for this episode:

How did Denver do in Beer City USA poll?

Just fyi- There's one in the crossroads plaza just down the road called the Knife :)

I've been there once but didn't like it at all. The meat was the worst I have had in any Argentine or Brazilian steakhouse. It was also the cheapest in price.

'd rather see and American steakhouse, barbecue/smoke house. I have only seen one Bone Fish grill in Florida and it was in St. Pete. It's different enough than the Red Lobster at Crossroads for me to want to see it at DTD.

Also, A/X should be there.

So, this is blue-sky, and there is no way that this is EVER coming down there, but I kind of wish they'd do a little "vegas" style thing here. No, not gambling, though, if they really want to make some money...

What I mean is, you know how right now, in the world of the chef, a chef will spend 30 years busting their hump working their way up from dishwasher to executive chef, open their restaurant in NYC, Napa Valley, etc, make their name, and then open up a branch or offshoot restaurant in Vegas. I kind of wish Disney Springs would do that. There is precedent, with Wolfgang Puck, Cat Cora and Todd English. But I kind of wish that DS had 5-10 "celebrity" joints. Kellar opening up another Bouchon, Collichio open a CraftSteak, etc.
I think that the names MIGHT keep some of these joints open, even if the prices would be astronomical when you take the "fine" dining aspects and add them to Disney pricing. Still, they might be able to make it work.

Again, I don't see it happening by a mile, but hey, this is a "what would you like to see" thread, right? That is what I would like to see.

Are there any casinos in FL??

Restaurant
Max Brenners. It's one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Their menu is based around their chocolate. Best hot chocolate I've ever had.

Shops
Disney would be stupid not to create a Marvel store. It'd make a killing. I'm not sure if they can though, because of the contracts, though Disney Springs won't be a theme park, so I suppose that's a loophole, I know WoD has Marvel stuff.
TopShop. This is my favorite retail store. 87% of my wardrobe comes from here. And Disney would be making A LOT of money off of CP's if they installed one. Huge market for early 20s.

I would love to have a Vintage/Retro/Rare Disney Clothing Shop. Stuff from back in the day. I'm always looking for Disney clothes that were made back in the 90's that I would love to have. They could also include like rare character items, instead of the typical Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy etc. Stuff you can't get anywhere else. I always see people on here wishing they could have something to remind them of that one rare character that never gets any recognition so I think this would do quite well in Disney Springs.

How about a "Hooters?" XD
seriously though, sign me up for that Jekyll and Hyde style Haunted Mansion restaurant. Outside of Disney World in Orlando there is a pirate themed restaurant. Disney could do something similar and slap on Jack Sparrow. They could also look into Walt's original idea of the Tiki Room being a restaurant as well.

I'd like to see more stores carrying Disney stuff like the World of Disney, I hear that the Pollo restaurant is going to be closed and World Of Disney is going to be expanding!
As for restaurants, I'd like to see a Cheesecake Factory, or something that isn't the quality of Disney food
