Channeling Yogurt.." Merchandising, merchandising, where the real money from the movie is made."
I'd love to see more attract specific merchandise..
How about not making everything available in every Store.
More professional looking disney shirts. I'd love a polo shirt with a small Donald Head instead of a gator
More Pooh sized clothing
attraction Cd's
Retro Attraction Shirts (Captain EO)
Disney Recipe Book
I could go on and on

Do you think that maybe we only see her wearing the pink dress because they don't want her to be confused with Cinderella? That's the only reason that makes sense to me.

I think this is the reason since they're pushing the whole Disney Princess merchandise so much. But I always felt as a child that Cinderella's dress was more silver then blue, and I was always quite capable of distinguishing the two different colours. All I'm asking for is more options! I buy tons of stuff on e'bay of her in her blue dress and up until about 10 years ago it was quite common, especially since the blue dress was the main one she wore throughout the movie. She pretty much only wore pink in the "make it blue/make it pink" sections of the movie.

Collectible monorail series would be cool, maybe in a display case.

How about maybe a scalectrix (sp?) style Test Track toy where you can mimic the attraction. That would be quite fun in my opinion.

I'm really really close to making my own but I really want to see:

a nice polo shirt like the Lacoste shirts but instead of a little aligator you'd have Space Mountain in white.

Im a graphic designer so once I get a few extra bucks I'm going to just make one.

Oh man that would be such a good idea! something nice and settle instead of the BEAM! in Ur face Disney stuff. Although they are getting better with the March on Disney shopping.com i do like the button up shirts with the characters printed on them, i knw own a few of them. Hopefully they can make cool attraction ones with like a tan shirt and the TOT in a darker brown printed on like the charecters are now like this --->

Would definitely like to see more attraction specific merchandise. Especially patches and "toothpick" holders :) They take care of the pins but it seems they leave out the more old school type souvenirs.

Your best bet with Pan is finding pins...as for other merch...it's rare. If and when we see anything, we grab it immediately. There exists an element of Tink merch. overkill sometimes. That bug is everywhere...but that MUST mean she's popular, right?
Overkill doesn't even begin to cover it, but I get it, Tink is like the Disney universe mascot-o-magic. I run into lots of grown women that really like her (my boss is one of them). Personally, I'm just a Peter and Wendy(or Jane) person. Pins I've got ... lots of them. :lookaroun

Over on the "new DHS shirt" thread, TomMorrow had mentioned a ToT shirt he would like to see Disney make. What I want, more than anything, is a tasteful "Hollywood Tower Hotel" shirt, maybe with "est. 1917" added, but they've never had it.
It reminded me of all the attractions and pavillions I've left empty handed wondering why they don't make exactly what I want (lol).
But seriously....what shirts, hats, toys, collectables have you dreamed about and looked for but never found. For me it starts with ride vehicles. I liked the small die-cast ones they made a few years ago but what I really want are 1/24th or 1/16 scale models or die-cast replicas of each attraction vehicle. It would just be a cool collectable to have, like the monorail series or the much smaller extinct attractions collectables from Olszewski.
I'd also love some more refined, adult shirts for some rides like ToT, Dinosaur (Dino Institute logo anyone?), or some extinct rides. Just something that doesn't scream at you in 42 bold colors and glitter!!!

So, what's your wish?

definitely more star wars/disney collaborations

*Retro is boss!

*I also hate to see them moving from ride or park specific items to more generic resort wide merchandise. Although its more cost effective for WDW to sell the same stuff everywhere than make specialized items

*I also agree with more "pooh sized" clothing, especially for women. Many of the t-shirts, even xxl are not realistically sized. I have broad shoulders and a big chest, many of the shirts are not generous enough

*Die Cast items are always great. I collect NASCAR 1/24ths

*Ditto Donald Duck merchandise-love this guy

*We have a few old novelty resort maps of the entire property and parks. Can we bring those back please?

Glad to hear other posters are looking for similar items :)

Would love more attraction specific merchandise, especially the return of the die cast vehicles they used to make.

As for polos, I have a bunch, my favorite being the Hollywood Tower Hotel Staff one I bought when the Tower first opened.

Also, in relation to WDW hotel merchandise, the WL still has a fairly large resort specific selection as far as I remember from August. Is that gone already as well?

I would like more Disney Scrapbooking items.

Ha! My grandmother would too. She has a habit of going to the scrapping store in Marketplace the first day of our visit, buys the whole store... then the last day she goes AGAIN to pick up stuff she "forgot" or rather she realized she'd need.

But you should see her scrapbooks. If she spent half as much effort into making an actual, publishable book we'd be rich by now.

I'm gonna join everyone else in saying attraction-specific merchandise is something I'd love to see. And I mean SPECIFIC. I remember, dunno if they still have it, they used to sell some ride vehicle toys/models for, like, Test Track and Dinosaur. I'd like to see that for every ride.

Well... almost every ride. There isn't a huge difference between the Small World, Grand Fiesta Tour and Pirates boats (solid color, wide, crinkly black floor) but you get the idea. I'm a sucker for bringing that sort of stuff back with me.

I dunno why I'm writing this though, because I'll probably blow most of my budget on pins anyways.

Oh... one last thing. When Wall-E comes out, I don't even care if he's integrated in the parks somehow I better see some robots! God, he's adorable.... all the charm of the brave little toaster but with Johnny 5's looks.

Peter Pan stuff!

Why is there never any stuff with Peter on it (except pins)... always Tinkerbell... I mean I like Tink and all... but there would be no Tink without Peter!

Also would like more ride/park specific stuff... used to be alot more then they have now :( It used to be all the various stores in the various parks and different locations had alot of different stuff based on where the shop was... now it is all the same stuff everywhere with maybe 10% unique to certain stores... and most the unique stuff isn't Disney branded stuff!

As far as scrapbooking stuff... they have a bunch... but it doesn't change anymore... have the same kits and stuff they had three+ years ago :\ Used to be they would change/add new stuff fairly often... and even when they have "new" kits most of the content is very similar... I mean the same exact Peter Pan sticker has been in at least 4 of the kits if not more

Oh, one more thing:

Last time I went to WDW, the villains store in "The Park Formerly Known as MGM" was suddenly pretty much a PotC store with a sprinkling of gothy Nightmare Before Christmas stuff.

Did they change that back already? If not, bring back my villains store! I wanna get my maleficent/chernabog stuff!

Totally. I was greatly disappointed in the scrapbooking stuff, especially after I saw a scrapbooking section officially promoted at DTD. I bought some paper, but it's not much thicker than regular printer paper and not at all like the paper quality I can get at AC Moore or Michael's.

Believe it or not, I would LOVE to see small dolls from IASW for sale. I'm actually amazed they don't already sell these, since the body shapes would be basically the same - all they'd have to change in manufacturing the dolls would be skin tones, eye color, hair styles and textures, and costumes.

I would enjoy those too! Maybe we can contact Marie Osmond to make these for Disney! Her dolls are gorgeous!

Last I was there it was still about 2/3 pirates, but they had a newer set of villains shirts. The shirts were a little 'meh?' but they were different. I didn't see any Chernabog at all ... and I looked fairly hard this trip because I ruined my long sleeve Chernabog shirt that said EVIL on the front.

That's another thing: darker clothes! I destroy lightly colored things very quickly and I'll admit I'm still a Goth. There used to be a fairly good amount of jewelry that was easily modified to match nearly any Goths ensemble; now it's all fairly ... well ... pink or to cheaply made to change with out breaking.

Oh and I'd also like to see Aurora in her Blue Dress, I hate that pink dress and whenever I see her wearing something blue I just have to buy it. She also used to come out in the park in her blue dress, but now it's only that ugly Pink. It's not a good colour for her skin tone.

I agree 110%. Aurora is my favorite character but I hate the pink dress. I like the blue dress and the Briar Rose dress and wish there was more merch with this. And also that she would occasionally wear the blue dress in the parks!
