What merchandise would you like to see?

I always wanted a classy, simple license plate holder. In silver or black that just has the mouse ears in the corner. If they feel they must put words on, then just "Walt Disney World" . Classy, not something that screams cartoon. I'm older and the kids are gone, but I still like to express my inner mouse, subtly.

Two things come to mind.

1. AK a shirt that has the Not-A-Zue saying.
2. Walking sticks or canes with Disney themed carvings.

An electric monarail set would be great my DS 4 and my DH would love it. They play monarail all the time. Well in our house it is the Man-a-rail.
I think I saw a Cinderella's Castel playset with Princess, pricens and even greenery at the Contemporary gift shop. I wanted it but would have said it was for my DD. :goodnevil

I , like many others, would love to see more resort specific/attraction specific merchandise.

I would also just love to see more variety in general as far as mens clothing goes, especially for us big 'ol chunky boys.

I collect resort/attraction magnets and it's almost impossible to find them unless you go on Ebay, so I would love to see more resort/attraction magnets.

The biggest travesty for me is the complete and total lack of Jiminy Cricket love!!! I would kill, ok...maybe not kill...I would severely maim someone for the chance to buy a Jiminy t-shirt, or hat, or magnet, or bathrobe, or bumper sticker, or license plate, or bowling ball, or hub cap cover, or retainer, or playing cards, or support hose, or toilet paper...or even a crack pipe! Just please, please, please provide me with more Jiminy Cricket merchandise!

Did I cross a line there somewhere?:lookaroun

I've got an extra jiminy cricket tank top that I got at the disney store last year. It's a women's medium, but maybe you can stretch into it? Or you could make your wife wear it so that you can look at it.

I think Disney has been getting away from Attraction-, Resort and even Park-specific stuff. It's really annoying!

ITA...Now all the Pop Century merch is basically gone. I was there 2 weeks ago and asked about it and they said it wasn't selling. No cups, mugs, pins or t-shirts. The only thing they had was a writing pen.

I would like more Chip n Dale merch.

I'm really really close to making my own but I really want to see:

a nice polo shirt like the Lacoste shirts but instead of a little aligator you'd have Space Mountain in white.

Im a graphic designer so once I get a few extra bucks I'm going to just make one.

I would love a 'park walk-through' dvd where its high quality walk through of all of the rides and atmosphere of the parks.

I watch all of the videos on youtube but would die for a disc that is high quality to watch when i have the blues and need the mouse to cheer me up!

I would like more monorail stuff.
Or make the monoral set a little less childish.
Maybe do a special edition with lots of detail?
And more monorail pins.

I was rellay upset the last time I was at POP. I couldn't find ANYTHING resort specific. I bought a great coffee mug there last may and I wanted to get another one. they were gone. The contp, beach club, AKL all had nothing.

I was really confused as to what happened to all the resort stuff.

Non-princess/Tinkerbell clothing for women! (We're not all girly-girls that like pink.) I'd love a nice button down shirt with an Alice or Wendy* imprint. I'd also love a pair of adult sized jeans with Donald or Stitch on them. I've had jeans embroidered with Disney logos before but I would really like to see what the merc people could do with the idea.

*What ever happened to Wendy? Did Tink finally get her or what? Wendy seems persona non grata now. (I only ask because I've given up on finding any Peter Pan and Jane things.)

Your best bet with Pan is finding pins...as for other merch...it's rare. If and when we see anything, we grab it immediately. There exists an element of Tink merch. overkill sometimes. That bug is everywhere...but that MUST mean she's popular, right?

Believe it or not, I would LOVE to see small dolls from IASW for sale. I'm actually amazed they don't already sell these, since the body shapes would be basically the same - all they'd have to change in manufacturing the dolls would be skin tones, eye color, hair styles and textures, and costumes.

They actually used to sell dolls like this, just not at WDW. I have a couple that I got at K-Mart & Walmart.

As for what I'd like them to sell, I have to agree with the request for more vintage merchandise, and also for more park/resort/attraction themed merchandise. I hate that I can go to the Pirates gift shop and then go to the Test Track gift shop and buy the same things. I would also like for them to acknowledge cats as valid pets. In their Paws & Tails line mostly everything is for dogs, and for someone who up until very recently only had cats this is kind of a let down. I would love to be able to have a nice cat collar, or something, and I would love to see Figaro on more things.

Oh and I'd also like to see Aurora in her Blue Dress, I hate that pink dress and whenever I see her wearing something blue I just have to buy it. She also used to come out in the park in her blue dress, but now it's only that ugly Pink. It's not a good colour for her skin tone.

I'm pretty sure they HAVE made some Small World Dolls. I seem to remember them being about six inches tall. Look on ebay.

The Walt Disney Classic Collection has a entire series devoted to It's a Small World with porcelain figures and ornaments featuring the dolls and some scenic elements from the ride. There also starting to do Pirates now (ride and movie). But some of the IaSW stuff may be retired already.

AGREED completely! I can't stand the fact that even though she wears blue for 99% of the freakin' movie she doesn't have any merchandise (aside from WDCC) that has her in her actual dress colour. At least the Platinum Edition DVD cover doesn't show her dress so I can't complain.

Several years ago, we bought a porcelain figurine of Aurora in the blue dress. But they have probably stopped making it. My young cousins were upset when they saw that her dress was the *wrong* color!

Do you think that maybe we only see her wearing the pink dress because they don't want her to be confused with Cinderella? That's the only reason that makes sense to me.
