What merchandise would you like to see?

Over on the "new DHS shirt" thread, TomMorrow had mentioned a ToT shirt he would like to see Disney make. What I want, more than anything, is a tasteful "Hollywood Tower Hotel" shirt, maybe with "est. 1917" added, but they've never had it.
It reminded me of all the attractions and pavillions I've left empty handed wondering why they don't make exactly what I want (lol).
But seriously....what shirts, hats, toys, collectables have you dreamed about and looked for but never found. For me it starts with ride vehicles. I liked the small die-cast ones they made a few years ago but what I really want are 1/24th or 1/16 scale models or die-cast replicas of each attraction vehicle. It would just be a cool collectable to have, like the monorail series or the much smaller extinct attractions collectables from Olszewski.
I'd also love some more refined, adult shirts for some rides like ToT, Dinosaur (Dino Institute logo anyone?), or some extinct rides. Just something that doesn't scream at you in 42 bold colors and glitter!!! :lol:

So, what's your wish?

Believe it or not, I would LOVE to see small dolls from IASW for sale. I'm actually amazed they don't already sell these, since the body shapes would be basically the same - all they'd have to change in manufacturing the dolls would be skin tones, eye color, hair styles and textures, and costumes.

What I've always wanted is a purse with Belle on it. Everywhere you go you only see purses with Tink, Cinderella, Mickey & Minnie, and I even have one with Snow White. But I have never seen one with Belle [appropriate for a 17 year old of course:animwink:]. Even the Disney Store doesn't have them. I'd be happy to have one with all the princesses on it.

I agree with you on the ride shirts. If I buy them, I usually end up using them as pajama shirts. I just feel wierd going to school and having a shirt that screams "I SURVIVED THE TOWER OF TERROR WHEN I WENT TO DISNEY WORLD FOR THE TENTH TIME!!!" Over at Disneyland I bought a really cute hoodie. "Disneyland" was written in small letters and it had a pink mickey silhouette, but it was hidden under some embroidery. So it didn't look like a Disneyland hoodie until you looked up close.

Most of the WDW stuff I buy is more low key with classic mickeys, donalds or logos on them. The flashy stuff is just not my style. As far as what I would like to see in the shops... how about a line of monorail shirts with different color stripes on them for each monorail and some sort of monorail logo... or maybe not :p

I'd love to see a Piglet Christmas Stocking. My DH loves Piglet and we've been looking for one for years. I have called and asked around Disney for the 9 years I have been with my DH and alas, none to be found.

Some classy but sweet shirts with a touch of Mickey or Minnie would be nice. Nothing that screams MICKEY or MINNIE. I like the polo type ones Disney Store carries with just a little Mic or Min. Maybe the same type of shirt with a little logo of MK or DHS. Not too many MK items out there, either.

As I said in the thread the OP referred to, polos with logos for individual parks are hard to find. Epcot has some nice ones, but nothing for MK, AK or DHS. And nothing at all at any of the resorts I've looked in [I haven't stayed everywhere...] except AKL. I've looked and asked at Contemporary, Polynesian and Pop Century, no luck.

I wish they had a belle purse. i am 17, and love girly things since im a girly girl and would love it........i would also love if they had more girly girl stuff for teenagers like me......like a cinderella glass sliper like telephone, exc.

i think that to, also smaller shirts. and slim and tall sizes.
im kinda tall and thin and finding cute pants and shirts in my size is quite hard

I'd love to see more subtle WDW clothing. In my line of work, it's best to keep my love of the mouse a little quiet. Don't know if this makes any sense? I'd also like to see more items for the kitchen (flatwares, glasses, etc.).

Aside from DisneyParks Transformers and more Retro EPCOT stuff, I've always wanted a shirt with the Himalayan Escapes logo on it. (Those Vekoma guys got one! Why can't we?)

ALSO: We need a G-Force Records shirt somethin' awful.

I , like many others, would love to see more resort specific/attraction specific merchandise.

I would also just love to see more variety in general as far as mens clothing goes, especially for us big 'ol chunky boys.

I collect resort/attraction magnets and it's almost impossible to find them unless you go on Ebay, so I would love to see more resort/attraction magnets.

The biggest travesty for me is the complete and total lack of Jiminy Cricket love!!! I would kill, ok...maybe not kill...I would severely maim someone for the chance to buy a Jiminy t-shirt, or hat, or magnet, or bathrobe, or bumper sticker, or license plate, or bowling ball, or hub cap cover, or retainer, or playing cards, or support hose, or toilet paper...or even a crack pipe! Just please, please, please provide me with more Jiminy Cricket merchandise!

So when it comes to WDW merchandise I can give some insight.

I know everyone loves the Epcot retro merchandise, so stay tuned as more is coming. Another popular request is Figment retro. I heard there's a Dreamfinder & Figment retro shirt also in the works.

My friend works in merchandise development and I know allot of great things are on the way.
