What Makes a "Real" Fan?

After reading a lot of these comments from so called 'Real Fans' I would quite happily not be referred to as a fan.

Hard to believe grown people will actually put people down who refer to themselves as a 'Disney Fan' simply because they don't know as much, spend as much, visit Disney as much as you think they should.

I heard that Disney can make people go a bit crazy, but this is off the charts insane.
