I should have mentioned I went to Rutgers, back when the "original" grease trucks were there - parked up and down College Ave. Not located in a converted parking lot.

This was before the advent of the "Fat" sandwich. Fat Cats were always around (Cheeseburger with fries on it) but things like the Fat Darrell were not yet a thing. You could just add stuff however you wanted. A Cheesesteak Hoagie (A cheesesteak with the addition of lettuce, tomato, and raw onion) was already a thing. One night it just felt right to add to fried egg to it. "Cheesesteak Hoagie with Double Fried Egg" came out and it was a thing of beauty.

I ate them on a almost weekly basis for the next two years. Never though to call it a Fat Dave :)

Cheesesteak hoagies are my go to cheesesteaks. My order is always lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mayo. Now I gotta add some fried eggs!

I would want an authentic BBQ joint. RIBS, Chicken, Pork and BBQ Brisket and so on. BBQ Baked Bean, Potato Salad and corn bread and a hot apple crisp with ice cream for dessert.

There is one of those at Disney Springs, and it's pretty good too. Not as good as great local BBQ restaurants, but much better BBQ than I expect to find at Disney.

Polite Pig is in DS. It's one of the DW and I's staples on our first day, while waiting for the room to be ready! Great prices for what you get. Even though it's a quick service, you can sit and they will bring your order to your table. I do find it up there with local BBQ spots, but we all have our own tastes.

It just depends on where -- I really like Polite Pig, but there are at least three BBQ places here in Atlanta that are definitely better.

But that's why I said great local BBQ spots; it's absolutely better than plenty of random local BBQ places.
