For me, the resorts are about finding a relaxing spot, that is full of theme and atmopsphere and just soaking it all in.

At the Wilderness Lodge...Sitting by the massive fireplace in one of the rockers.
I also love running my hands through the polished tumbled stones in the giftshop,
and sitting near the waterfall outside and breathing in the fresh sharp scent of Rosemary!

At the Boardwalk...The Boardwalk itself is so much fun (when it's not pouring rain...which it ALWAYS is when I'm there!) I also love to watch the miniature carousel, and wait for it to move. And morning tea in that little game room bar area is wonderful.

At Coronado Springs...There is a fountain in the entryway of the lobby, with a round dome. It's one of my favorite places int he World to stop, breathe and make a wish.
I also like walking along the beach.

At the Polynesian...The lobby, with the heady hot scent of jasmine, or hibiscus...or whatever that is, and looking at the waterfall, listening to the birds. Never actually stayed there...but I love to do this!

At Port Orleans...The french Quarter has a cool gift shop I like to go to...because I collect mardi gras masks...but my very favorite spot is in the food court of Riverside, sitting by the wooden water wheel. It always relaxes me.

The Epcot Resort loop...Running through all the different resorts while it rains outside. Done this every single trip...and it's become the must do. And the weather always cooperates by pouring down. Both the Beach Club and the Dolphin are good for ice cream stops too.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge...I love to go outside and watch the animals in the little walkthrough and hear the African music piped in. Also enjopy just sitting in the lobby by the massive windows.

At the Grand Floridian... I don't like to stop here much, because it always seems too stuffy. But I do like to go and people watch there. Maybe see if I am lucky enough to get a glimpse the Doll Lady.

At the Contemporary...I like to eat at the restaurants there, and I like to watch the monorails go by, and find the many legged goat in the mural.

At the Carribean Beach Resort...Love just hanging out at the pool there. it has one of my favorite themed areas to just hang out in and catch a drink.

Wow. You would think I go to WDW juts to hang out at the resorts. I guess that's true.
Considering Ihave never doine a trip there for more than five days, that is saying something!

At the parks...There are too many things...but always on the list...Splash Mountain at least twice, Muppetvision, and Toy Story Midway Mania at least twice. Eating at the Land, hanging out near Canada to relax, Nemo the Musical, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder and Pirates at night and finishing the day with Wishes.

At Downtown Disney...don't go there much anymore...but there's a great little shop called Hoi Polloi that I like to visit. and I love when they have singers on the little stage near the water.

What's your favorite thing to do at a resort? Love just walking around and taking in how detailed the theme is. Also love how beautiful the landscaping is.

What's your favorite thing to do in each park?
Other than rides themselves, see above answer. Simple but true.

What's your favorite thing to do at DTD? Like walking through World of Disney and looking for that one cool thing to buy.

Resort - Walking around the Polynesian at night, watching wishes from the beach with a drink.

MK - PotC, the ride and shop

Epcot - Walking around WS and looking through the stores, especially Japan and taste testing sake.
DHS - ToT

AK- Going on KS first thing in the morning when all the animals are out.

DTD - Just walking around relaxing and eating at Fulton's

I love the very first moment that the Reflections of Earth show starts, everyone says "AAAHHHHH" and it brings tears to my eyes it's so beautiful.

I love the way the World Showcase looks right before the sun goes down.

I love going to see a parade and I turn around and there's a chubby, middle aged man with Mickey ears on and he suddenly looks like an 8 year old.

I love watching those funny white birds try to interact with people at AK so that they might score a snack.

I love shopping for my Christmas tree ornament at the Christmas shop in DTD. It's so hard to choose!

CBR - at the night's I stay at the resort I loved to sit by the poolside bar with a coffee and a M&M cookie or an ice cream and watch the EPCOT fireworks in the background.

Port Orleans Riverside-the carriage ride is nice and the guy on the piano especially with a good crowd is alot of fun.

Animal Kingdom Lodge-Jiko's

Polynesian-Ohana

Beach Club-I love the pool

All the Gingerbread houses at Christmas are amazing

Parks
Magic Kingom-I got to say Wishes or the Christmas Party

EPCOT-Spaceship Earth and Reflections

World Showcase-American Adventure, Voices of Liberty, and Le Cellier. Can not forget the Santas across the nations and the candlelight procession.

MGM-Toy Story Mania, The Great Movie Ride, and FANTASMIC!
Osbourne's Lights are great

Animal Kingdom-Everest and "DeVine"

Downtown Disney
I like the boat ride from Port Orleans on nice cool evening. NOT COLD!!!
The best thing to do at Downtown Disney is get a Giredelli ice cream
or a popcorn and sit on the benches in front of Stitch and watch the reactions of the unexpecting people. Note: This work best in the off season and hope that kids aren't playing in front. The Christmas Store is nice too.

Now everyone knows that I love WDW during Christmas time.

Resort: Grab a Dole Whip at the Poly, head over to the beach, grab a hammock and watch Wishes from the beach curled up with my BF. Best thing ever.

DTD: Getting a free sample from Ghiradelli's. Especially if they're handing out the carmel-filled ones that day. :slurp:

MK: Watching Spectro and seeing all the little kids get all excited about seeing their favorite characters. That's what makes the parks so special.

EPCOT: Illuminations on a warm spring night and the Illuminations Plaza background music.

DHS: Trying to improve my score on TSM, RnRC, and Fantasmic.

DAK: Dinosaur. I also love bringing a sketch book and drawing the animals. It's very relaxing on a nice day.

Probably the most enjoyable part of my last trip was watching Illuminations whilst standing next to a child who was just jumping around with excitement throughout the entire show and pointing out every explosion and laser to his mum. I kinda saw the show in a new light.

So, um, yeah that would be my new favourite thing to do at WDW.

What's your favorite thing to do at a resort? Depends on the resort, but I have made friends with the bar tenders at a few of them, so I usually go visit them haha. Or lay out and relax, while I watch people give my tattoos dirty looks. That always makes me smile a bit.

What's your favorite thing to do in each park? Well... haha
MK - Pirates and Splash Mountain and the NSSHP
AK - Everest and eat at Yak N Yeti
Epcot - World Showcase... Japan is my absolute favorite, and the Grand Marnier Orange Slush in France is my favorite drink.
MGM - ToT and TSM... and when I get picked to be one of the people in the Backstage tour.

What's your favorite thing to do at DTD? I miss Pleasure Island... but now I like the shopping, and I like when they have things going on at the stage, like dance offs and cheerleading competitions.

Well, it was AC, but since that's no longer there, the next thing would be just window shopping, and checking out all the stores.

Usually sleep! We usually don't spend overly too much time at the resort but I do enjoy walking up and grabbing a coffee in the morning before heading to the park. I also really enjoyed walking around the Boardwalk at night...we stayed at the Swan so checking out the shops and restaurants as well as a few hotels was a good way to kick back after a long day.

Park
Too much to choose from! I really enjoy taking in the atmosphere at each park. The attractions are always a high priority, but the sights, sounds and attention to detail is always something I like soaking in.
Favorite rides/attractions at each park...
MK- Splash Mountain
Epcot- Soarin'
AK- Everest
DHS- Tower of Terror

DTD
Usually shooping or eating! The majority of my disney shooping is done at either the World of Disney or the Days of Christmas store. Though I did catch the cirque show a few years back and that was a ton of fun.

I wake up early before anyone else. I shower, get dressed and walk to the food court for coffee and get my wife and son breakfast. I wake them up and sit by the pool while they get ready. Just a moment of calmness before the craziness of the day at the parks begins.

Resort: Having some cocktails with my DW then drunkenly wandering over to the food court and ordering pizza and while waiting on that buying tons of souvenirs.

Parks: Just walking along laxidasically and enjoying the atmosphere, eating snacks and riding rides at my own lazy pace.

DTD: Shopping at the Christmas Store and World of Disney, like the poster above me.

Oh yeah....... giggity giggity giggity, Taylor Hanson.....you guys are kidding right.....seriously, you guys are kidding...oh god, I have posters and everything......

Geeze... my favorite thing likely was just realizing that I was actually in Disney World on my first day at the parks. It was a long journey to get there (metaphorically), and that first minute of stepping into Animal Kingdom was just amazing.
