I choose the Liberty Tree Tavern, we always enjoyed our dinners and never had a bad experience there. I really wish they would bring back the characters though :(

I would vote Crystal Palace because of the atmostphere and buffet choices... CRT is to pricey for what you get.. it used to not be that bad and I would have voted for it but the last time we ate there it was ridiculous..

I have actally tried Crystal Palace and didnt care for it that much. My favorite is Tony's Town Square. I really like the meatballs in there. I also love The Liberty Tree Tavern. That is actually the favorite of the rest of my family so I never get to eat in Tony's.

Ditto. Sorry, but I don't believe there is anything IN MK proper that I would consider a restaurant. California Grill, Citrico's, Narcoossee's are all a Monorail trip away. Artist's Point is a QUICK bus ride away (but be warned - they don't have a decent filet on the menu anymore).

Same for Hollywood Studios - Brown Derby cheapened their menu around November '08. But DTD (Fulton's & Portabello), and Shula's at the Dolphin are RIGHT there.

Epcot has LeCelier & Bistro de Paris... two solid restaruants (one of which you can actually get in to) :)

daverube - did Bistro de Paris suffer a quality issue? Or just Chefs? Would love to know for our November bookings...

So basically, you're just listing many of the finest, most expensive restaurants on property.
I've tried them all (except Bistro) and I agree, they're great.
But not everybody can afford eat at these places.
Saying the MK doesn't have "anything you'd consider a restaurant" is probably insulting to a lot of people.

Just got back from WDW and I ate a few days ago at the Plaza. It was fantastic. The fries were crispy, not greasy, really delicious. I had the best cheesesteak in my life. The meat was not tough at all. It was very good. I loved the white cheddar, mushrooms, onions, the red peppers and the bread was fresh. There was not a bit of grease at all. It had a fanstastic taste.

My boyfriend really enjoyed his cheeseburger too. Also, the CM's are very helpful and sweet.

No, look at my words... nothing I would consider a restaurant. That sir is a personal opinion - being personal, it may be wrong for others. Had I commented that MY favorite color was blue - would that constitute an insult to others?

I understand it's your opinion, respect it, and actually agree that those restaurants you listed are superior.
I just felt saying there's nothing you consider a restaurant in the Magic Kingdom might not be appreciated by the many who love Tony's, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree and other sit down options in the MK.
It's all good, I guess I'm just in a nitpicky mood today.

But I must tell you, Green is a much better color than blue. :ROFLOL:

I agree completely with this statement. That atmosphere is nice, but for the price, the food is mediocre (even though they try hard to make it seem like a more fancy restaurant). And to charge over $30 for a child's dinner that can be found for $8 anywhere else is rediculous.
