Disney-Nautifan
My favourite extinct Walt Disney World attractions are as follows:
This attraction, which used to be in Tomorrowland, was one of my favourites, mostly because it was very unique, had beautiful music, and you just got to love the eccentric Timekeeper himself (he was voiced by Robin Williams, and I remember he had silver tinsel for hair and green grasses)!
The SKyway was a very nice attraction at the Magic Kingdom. Although it lacked serious thrills, it was a very relaxing attraction, and the views from the bucket were incredible. In fact, I would say it was the only aerial view you would get of the Magic Kingdom. (Shame its gone)....
- 20'000 Leagues Under The Sea.
Unfortunately, I never got to ride 20'000 Leagues as it was closed by the time I visited Walt Disney World for the first time (in 1999). But having seen family footage of the ride and Nautilus subs, I was hooked, and eventually it evolved into a favourite of mine. I however do remember the empty sub lagoon in Fantasyland though.
Another favourite was mine was Horizons in Epcot. I never got to ride it, but I did however in 1999 get to see the white pyramidal building which housed the attraction, and I also remember seeing the Horizons signage outside. (good memories)...
Alien Encounter I did manage to ride in 2002 when I visited WDW for the second time. It was dark, SCARY, and utterly unforgettable. :sohappy:
WDW Trips:
1999,2002,2006 and
