Well I used to want to be an animator...I was really into drawing cartoon characters, obsessed really. But that kinda died when I didn't really have much time for drawing.
Everyone I know tells me that I should do something in PR or advertising for WDW because I guess they think I'm good at "selling" Disney vacations lol. Somehow I've convinced about 15+ people I know to buy the annual pass...and I'm always helping my co-workers to plan their WDW vacation...but it's not like I jump in and force them. They actually approach me for help. lol I think I'd be good at that kinda thing because I'm really passionate about WDW.
I'm going to school for PR/Advertising right now, so hopefully one day I'll get my shot!
My dream job full stop would be a Show Design, for TV, Events etc. So my ultimate dream would be involved in the design and concept of Parades and stage shows etc as Disney Resorts. Designing Illuminations, Spectomagic, Wishes etc. Not the look, but the concept and the effects, the story all that Jazz.
Since I'm a web developer, I always wondered what it would be like to work for the Disney Internet Group. I know they're based in Calif., but I'm pretty sure they have an Orlando office. I can't seem to find any info on it or what they do in Orlando.
If we're talking about a cool job without regards to salary, I've always thought it'd be neat to working the parking lot trams. I'm sure if I think about it, I could come up with 100 other jobs.
Since I'm a nurse, it would be my dream to be an on-site nurse for the parks. I don't even know if that position exists. If not, I would love to work doing anything on Main Street. I love the music, shops, and atmosphere in general. Anything would be fine as long as I got to see the castle everyday.
I want to be a princess, mainly Belle!! I have long, brown hair and have been told that could do that since it is one thing in the world that I would love to do. I love kids, can sing and dance, etc!!!
I would tend bar at the Polynesian Resort pool bar. The atmosphere would be great. I would get to interact with lots of people on vacation, and talk Disney all day long. I would also love to be at on of the resort monorail stations for many of the same reasons. By working here the parks would stay fresh too.
I want to be the AZA required field conservationist for Animal Kingdom. I think it would be the best job to be able to actually work for Disney, but not necessarily be at WDW, but still have the freedom to go there whenever I want. Also, I would be able to travel around the world and study animals in their natural habitat and Disney would pay for it. Awesome.
I'm an anthropology major so I'd love to work with Disney in an anthropological manner. I'd love to research the various cultures of the guests to make it more available to everyone. Disney is probably pretty goood at that already, but there is such a variety of people represented in the parks.
If not in that manner, I'd love to help with a world showcase in an athropological manner. I am not sure how accurate the showcases are, but I am sure there is always room for change. Some real education could happen there.
And if I had the talent, I'd love to be a street performer. That'd be great.
I have always dreamed of working on set designs on the rides. Painting scenes on the dark rides or placing the finishing touches on Splash Mountain. Actually, what started it was IASW. I used to look at all the dolls and think of how much fun it would be to make the little dresses and paint their faces.
The weird thing is, I don't have a drop of creative blood in me. I'm the analytical/logic type. I guess that is the magic of Disney! (My dark secret is out :lookaroun )
Since we're all living in a Fantasyland here....I'll add one more on:
If I had the talent or know-how I'd love to be a performer in the Adventurers Club.....they are awesome!
Heck....any job there would be great, as long as I was able to shop in the famed Company D store!
Mine changes now and again....
I would like to be a set decorator/upkeep for the rides. [Does that job even exist?] or work with Disney Events and Meetings at the Boardwalk. I work in Event planning here so why not at WDW!
mine would be something in merchandising or event planning. either designing the interior of the stores or the costumes or planning all of the awsome private events that go on, on the property. and since my first love is animals and their conservation - a driver at the safari
