What is truly your favorite thing/experience in WDW?

My favorite thing is total suspension of the real world. The fact that after 50+ weeks of being at my customers beckoned call I can truly spend every waking moment concentrating on my family and connecting with them. Enjoying morning walks around the resort with DD while DW puts on her face and making those walks last. Taking our time and never having to do anything we don't care to (other than packing to come home). Watching my daughter blossom and enjoy new things...and dragging me along with her. You see, I am 41 years old but up until two years ago I did not do roller coasters. DD decided she wanted to do them and rather than sitting on the sidelines while she and DW rode I manned up and started riding. I never would have found out how much fun it is to do together unless I let loose and was willing to step outside my comfort zone. Family means everything and Disney creates the window of opportunity.

The ONLY bad thing is missing our dogs and wanting to get home to them.

Everything Disney, of course, but most of all, truly relaxing from the stress of everyday life and having a great time making memories with my kids doing something as simple as walking down Main Street at MK or watching the tigers at DAK. Hearing them say "remember that time on SM" or "I wish we could eat at 1900 Park Fare today" weeks/months later let's me know it's just as important to them and that makes all the working and saving worth it.

My favorite thing is at the end of the night when were leaving MK and were half way down main street I stop and look back at the castle. I totally stop traffic and I'm sure I aggrevate many people including my husband but I just have to stop and stare at the castle and all the main street shops all lit up ~sigh~

Made me get a lump in my throat

My husband and I enjoy getting to be kids again, but most of all we love the memories that we are creating for our kids. We have and 10 year old and 3 teens. I enjoy seeing the teens go back to being little kids as well - not worried about being "cool," running around, laughing, etc.

For me it's entering each park...even if it's the third time on the same trip! Just the thrill of going through the entrance gate, with the music, and the excitement and the anticipation of all the amazing things waiting inside!

I particularly love the entrance to Animal Kingdom, with the smells of earthy green foliage.

The very cool deco entrance gate to The Studios transports me instantly!

The Magic Kingdom gate, and the glimpse of the railroad makes me so happy excited!

The sprawling EPCOT entrance gate, with it's ultra modern feel actually holds many great memories.
And I adore the back entrance into World Showcase too, because it's like a stroll perfectly manicured estate.

- Walking under the railroad and onto Main St.
- The ghost party in HM
- Experiencing my resort in the morning. I usually force myself to go for a run before I shower. Its the one time of day its not a complete humid mess in Florida. Its also amazingly peaceful. Best was doing it while staying at Riverside. The early morning mist over everything just made it perfect. Even the All Stars just have a beauty to them in the morning.

My favorite thing is the Haunted Mansion. I just love waiting in line and getting up to the door...and I love that moment where the door is closed and we're waiting to be let in and the maid or butler then opens it for us and I pretend that there's no one there but my family. I really love it when we get to the park when it first opens and we hurry over to the Mansion while others are racing to Space Mountain or wherever. I love when we are the first family into the Mansion and can ride it four or five times in a row without anyone else around.

That's so fun. It feels like we are there after hours or are there when we aren't supposed to be there. I just love that.
