What is the WORST music at Disney World?

Current I would say the New Tiki Room music.

For past, please someone tell me if I am right on this. When SpectroMagic first arrived was the music different than it is now. I remember seeing it on my honeymoon in 1993 and thought there were lyrics, and all I remember hearing "Spectro.........Magic.........Spectro.......Magic" for the whole thing. Am I dreaming this? Was this a nightmare as I was so upset that the music from the original MSELP was gone? :veryconfu

My vote is another for the Test Track Queue Music. Thank goodness for FastPass so I don't have to endure it for too long.

It's hard to say any disney music is bad, but I'd probably have to say test track. It's not so bad in the queue, but that's probably because I only ride it with a fast pass and I can talk to other people in my group. On the cd's it's another story. It seems to always be on the cd's and I always skip it because it just gives me a headache. :hammer: I just think there's better WDW music that could go on those cd's!

I do agree with buzz queue music though, although I never really thought about it because I always use fast pass and don't really pay all that much attention. I can see how it can get nerve racking in there after a while.

That song makes me want to run away screaming. My mom had the album back from the 60's or 70's and she'd torture me by playing it. As a result, you couldn't pay me enough to go on that ride now.

:lol: I confess that I've done my share of torturing myself. Back when I was really young, I insisted on riding IASW over and over. My mom said that the final count came to 14 times. She claims that she heard that song in nightmares for several weeks afterward. Personally, I still have a remarkably high tolerance for the song.

I could agree more. Ive been on its a small world alot(not sonce the renervations) but the repetitve music and the small slightly evil looking people singing this. Its torture

The new tomorrowland loop....I miss the jazz music...

Test track is a close second but I would rather listen to that then...Now is the time and there is a great big beautiful tomorrow...Ergh...i miss larry carlton...

The area music in Dinloand near Triceratop Spin and Primeval Whirl is really bad.

I agree with you dinoland music is horrid but the upside is that they play it in the restrooms and it helps to "move things along"

This is simple:
Mickey's Birthdayland Express.

This is the song they used to play on the WDW Railroad when Mickey's Toon Town Fair was Mickey's birthdayland. Everytime the train pulled into or left any station they would play that infernal song.

I had that song stuck in my head for fifteen years. I had just about forgotten it, until I read this thread. :hammer:

I feel bad for the CMs who work Test Track. They have to listen to that pounding and clanging ALL DAY!

They should replace the music with something more serene -- like what you might hear in the waiting room for a tour of a GM plant. Heck, even a subtle musical nod to World of Motion would be preferable.

But I really do not mind the Buzz Lightyear music even though it is very very repetitive.:hammer:

So by my count TT music is winning hand down as the worst!!

The pop re-mixes of the classic disney tunes that they play (or at least played, I don't know if they do now) before Fantasmic. The POTC theme was NOT meant to be played to a dance beat.

I used to hate that too, but now its one of my favorite CDs. At first I thought they ruined, then it grew on me, now its wonderful!!
