That's when the 90s wasn't sure if it was the 90s. Think this was more of a mid-transition from 80s to 90s and just kind of went bleh. This is what you call....Eisner's attempt to celebrate the Early 90's
Maybe the color scheme is just...off. Yes, it is 90s (which is a style I don't really mind) but they kind of messed up a bit on the colors.
Maybe Lisa Frank should collaborate with Disney on this one.
I really miss the old look for the Disney Store like this. It actually felt more special and welcoming before the redesign. I still remember the moving figures the most.Well, they figured it out for the more modern Disney Stores....It was as bright and colorful as the station
Thank you so much for posting these. There used to be a tram that took you from the parking lot to MK, and this is where I remember seeing these. I really miss that.
I believe you can also see the topaires when you are on the Monorail.Thank you so much for posting these. There used to be a tram that took you from the parking lot to MK, and this is where I remember seeing these. I really miss that.
It looks more like a Mcdonalds playset to me.The color elements at the Transportation and Ticket Center are an early attempt at making something “more Disney” because it’s intent was not being maintained. While the colors are the most obvious contrast, they are not really something unusual. The palette is in line with the graphic design of the rest of the Resort’s signage and wayfinding. I think it sticks out so much more, and worse, because of the materials stand in such stark contrast to their context. The elements look like cheap plastic toys blown up and plopped down without thought.
You're right. I love all the old pictures and videos you find.I believe you can also see the topaires when you are on the Monorail.
I love me my 90s aesthetics, but this just hurts my eyes. It's way too colorful for it's own good. This is what you call....Eisner's attempt to celebrate the Early 90's
Are there any left? I haven't been on the monorail that way in some time.I believe you can also see the topaires when you are on the Monorail.
Sadly no they got rid of them sometime in the mid 1980's.Are there any left? I haven't been on the monorail that way in some time.
