My family and i were on line for test track one day and i heard this one kid say to his father, "Daddy, why do we have to go on this ride, we can go 65 miles in our car." This was one of the funniest things i have ever heard on the WDW property.

lol, yeah. I've seen people like that too! I think I'll bring a notebook in the parks w/me. And anytime something funny happens, I'll write it down! hahah

That's seriously a wonderful idea! And while you're at it, you should also stop by a couple of Custodials and ask them about it. Seriously, I think Custodials are the CMs who get the most absurd questions since they're the most visible CMs.

I just remembered this one. I was watching Illuminations and the people behind me kept saying, when the fire comes out of the barge, "I dont think thats supposed to happen" or "Oh my god the barge is on fire" or "Is the barge supposed to be on fire?" I was about to tell them no, this never happens, and that there are people who come out of the barge but there probably burning.

I just remembered another one! It too happened on our last day at the parks at MK. It had just finished raining (thats all it did while I was there) and the TTA was just reopening. So there was actually like a 5 min wait. So the people behind us thought the ride was actually like a thrill ride! So the mother (or grandma) kept saying OMG you cant get me on that! So she asked me how fast it went I just told her that it was a really slow fun ride!! But I should have told her that it was the fastest in the parks!!

this is not the funniest one i have heard that one still goes to the one mentioned above!!

WDWBabe,

You hit the nail on the head when you said what a person really means when they ask what time the 3:00 parade is is what time does it get to where we are standing/seated. We all know that if it starts on Main St. at 3:00 it will be 10-15 minutes before it gets to Frontierland, but the person asking doesn't know that because it is probably their first visit.

The person asking about King Kong is not stupid either. It is also their first visit to WDW. Many of their friends have visited WDW and US, as many of us have. Their friends come back and talk about all the stuff they rode and saw, often without explaining which park it was in. Can we really blame the first time visitor for asking? After all, every one of us, including the Cast Members in here were first time visitors once.

By the way, what time is the 3:10 to Yuma? :D

Hey yeah, he uses that term A LOT and I have no clue what he is talking about.

Does it have to do with "pants"? LOL!!

(Newcomers-- do a search for Pants and see what you can come up with)

While I was in Florida, I kept hearing from my dad and uncle, Where is the fasttrack machine? (refering to the Fast Pass machine) and they called Test Track, Fast Track also. Finally I got so paranoid about it when they mentioned it I would say, What are you talking about? Just to correct them. They never did get the point though. They still call it Fast Track. Oh well.:)

In regards to Spaceship Earth, the big golf ball:

"Why would they make an attraction about golf that big?"

ok, Ive never heard that one before, but I would probably think something like that if I had never been to Epcot before. :p

In Animal Kingdom, I am wearing a "Property of WDW" Muscle Shirt. It has a Mickey head logo on it. This guy, who was chaperoning a bunch of campers, yells across to me. "What does WDW stand for." I look at him real serious and point to the each letter as I slowly say "Walt - Disney - World." The guy turns red and all of the campers crack up.

I have been laughing about it ever since.

HEY CM'S

When you get a confused multi-park customer asking about things like ET, Spider-man, or even where Emeril's Restaurant is (if in DD) what response can you give them. Can you name the competitors, or do you simply say "We don't have that on property" or something. Can you brag about "Spider-man being a really good ride for an outside company"?
