WHAT is the name of this ride?

Nine years ago, in Epcot (Future World), I went on the neatest ride ...

If my memory serves me ... you sat 2 to a "car," and your back was basically against the wall. The cars were almost like those on a a Tilt-A-Whirl (half moon shaped), no spinning! The cars moved like a train, but, they pulled you sideways ~ left to right (and around bends). You are looking down (almost hanging over) the "exhibit." It was educational, but AWESOME! You almost felt like your face was pressed up against the glass ... in awe. Ugh! What is the name of it!?!

Is there such a ride???

Horizons was replaced by Mission: Space. A tribute to the attraction still lies in the center of the Mission: Space queue's "gravity wheel".

It sounded at first, based on your description, to be "World of Motion".

What is the tribute? Does anyone have a picture of it?

There are two tributes, the first is in the que area on the large wheel, the horizons logo is in the centre and the logo can also be found beneath one of the registers in the gift shop.

My guess was Horizons, since you had the scene with the farming robots (or whatever they were called) looking across a countryside and another where you were passed in front of an IMAX screen (my favorite part -- with the crescendo-ing music...)

If you can dream it, then you can do it...

Hmm...I guess the "IN AWE" comment threw me - I don't recall ever being in awe of anything on Horizons...
FOR SHAME!!!!!! Just kidding. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Even if it is a BAD opinion!!!! :p :animwink:

I wish I had gotten the chance to ride WOM and Horizons. :( WOM had already been replaced by TT by my first trip; and Horizons was closed, being prepared to become MS. :(

Thank you ALL! :)

Yes, it was Horizons (I checked out the picture!). I'm really sorry to hear that it's gone. :(

P.S. I am in "awe" of everything Disney. :)
