What is the Bldg in Universal?

Does anyone now what the building is or was supposed to be behind the WoodyWood roller coaster at Universal?

I'm pretty sure the building you speak of is the old Hard Rock Cafe building.

Bldg almost looks like batman metropolis theme.Did they have a Hard Rock Cafe inside the gate at Universal at one time?

The old HRC building was outside the park, but that area is now inside the park. When the park first opened, you could leave by E.T. and go down a walkway to the HRC. But the park expanded and that HRC closed and the area was taken over with the play area. Do a Google search for this and you'll find some pictures and such.

I remember the Psycho house and Bates Motel set over by where the old HRC used to be. I would just stare at it forever and be so creeped out... especially around dusk.

What was really cool was when they put in the haunted house in the Psycho house. Shame I didn't see that... I'm sure it was an imposing concept to be sure.

I closed back in October. It just wasn't drawing enough crowds.

I didn't know the Vault closed. I went there with a bunch of people a couple years ago and we thought it was really cool. I still got the pics I took somewhere.

It moved when citywalk opened in 2000 or late 1999. There was nothing else around it.

Regarding the original USF Hard Rock Cafe - I know I`ve posted this picture before, but goto http://photoalbums.wdwmagic.com/sho...be6c92c58a93317b2f12c75&sort=1&cat=500&page=2 and look at the extreme right hand side - the building you can just see on the edge of the picture is the original HRC. The big white building to the left of it is ET.

Isn't it used for strnage for the Hard Rock Hotel.... Since that is also up against the park.. The pool is next to the old resturaunt......

The old dropoff for USF is the road you use for Hard Rock Hotel......
