What is the best ride you have ever been on?

Hagrid’s is the best.
  • incredible theming from queue to exit
  • a fun story with easily audible dialogue
  • great pacing so you get multiple moments to pause and enjoy before the next launch/action
  • two different themed seating options
  • and if on the motorcycle seat you can time hitting the dragon’s breath button just right to feel that extra touch of fun and immersion.
And all of this at a “goldilocks” thrill level that is both exciting and highly accessible to families.

Honourable mention to Flight of Passage: it sure feels like a ride, and like no other, grinning ear to ear.
Excellent choices 👍🏻

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Blew me away first time I rode it. Thank god the version in Florida remains in its original form (although badly maintained, according to reports from people here. I can't comment, because I haven't visited WDW in years). It still makes me sick that some dumdum suit from Disney wanted to gut the Tower and stick Marvel heroes in it. Happily, that desecration only occurred in Disneyland. Can you imagine that Guardians eyesore in DHS? Barf.

Cosmic Rewind for thrill and how unique it is. But every time I step off Expedition Everest I'm blown away. The queue is so immersive, and the ride never fails to surprise me.

I would love to try some of the international Disney parks though. A lot of those rides look incredible. Also, I've heard such great things about Hagrid's.

Best coaster experience? 1984, the 100th anniversary of the roller coaster…Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ…for that year they put the cars on Rolling Thunder backwards!
A GREAT classic twin wooden coaster…RIP

To me, a "ride" is anything that involves movement, even if it's simulated using hydraulics and a screen, etc.

So in that case, for me, CoP (barely) counts, Soarin' counts, but Alien Encounter does not.

Peter Pan affects the kid in me more than anything else.

But Rise of the Resistance has to be the best attraction experience I've ever been on, with Guardians a close second.
i agree with you Peter Pan just gets the kid in me back and i remember sitting in front of the TV watching the wonderful world of Disney. Big Thunder is great but nothing got me like the first time i was able to go on space mt in 1979. Wow that was cool.
Rocking Roller coaster was great when it first opened but comic rewind is just unreal.

Ugh, I hated Wildcat. It was ridiculously rough. The last time I went on it I ended up with a migraine. I much prefer Lightning Racers and Comet. Heck, Comet is almost 80 years old and smoother than Wildcat was. Wildcat's Revenge is so much better.
Wildcat was rather smooth, not perfect but not bad the first year or 2 and got rough quickly. That said it never bothered me but dh wasn't a fan
