What is the best character breakfast?

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
We love 1900 Park Fare for dinner at the Grand Floridian w/cinderella, it uses only 1 table credit.

Crystal Palace in MK, try get a booking before the park opens and ul gat some great shots of main street and cinderellas castle! Great breakfast and great characters!!

Ohanas best friends breakfast in the Poly is also great, stitch mickey pluto and lilo are great fun and the juice and bread there are delicious :slurp::slurp::slurp:
Also this gave me the chance to explore the poly and decide it will be the 1st deluxe resort i stay in!!!

TUSKER TUSKER TUSKER, best breakfast in all the parks. Characters take their time as well if you have little ones. Atmosphere is 100% as well. Nothinbg like being in Africa first thing in the morning.

Here's my vote for Tusker House, too. Good food, big selection, and great character interaction. We really liked when everyone got up and danced around the restaurant. And, don't forget the juice!!

We had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare 2 weeks ago and it was great for the character interaction. We met Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the mad hatter (who was an absolute riot), Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger. Plenty of variety at the buffet. Kids loved the Mickey waffles and pancakes with tons of chocolate toppings. DH and I enjoyed the omelet station and I LOVED the strawberry soup - had 3 bowls! :p

We have enjoyed all of the character meals we've tried. The kids are getting older, so I expect I'll have to whine and stamp my foot to go to many more of them. Though I've already joked w/my DS (tween) that in a few years he'll be ready to go back to the princess meals again! hahaha.

We've had: Cinderella Breakfast, Crystal Palace Bfst, Chef Mickey Bfst, and Liberty Tree Dinner (RIP - boohoo). We're doing Tusker this winter, and Cape May in the spring.

I think it depends on what you are looking for: princesses are great for a little girl, CRT is great for atmosphere for adults but may be lost on a younger child, Chef Mickey was loads of fun because of the dancing and singing, and at Crystal palace the characters themselves were entertaining and interactive. Food was decent at all of them, but honestly, I don't remember the food at any meal being more memorable than another.

We have really enjoyed the Cape May breakfast. The characters are great and it's not as busy as some of the other breakfasts so you not only get more time with the characters but the buffet isn't as packed.

We've had breakfast at the Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, and Cape May Cafe. All were excellent, and you can't go wrong no matter which you choose. The best all-around for us was the Crystal Palace, partly due to the fabulous decor.

I'll agree with Crystal Palace...the food is great and the decor is wonderful...It's nice to get an early time as you can walk down Main Street with very few people there....It's where I always start my first day.

My vote, and my DH's vote are for Crystal Palace. We loved the environment, and the breakfast options, and the characters. We had so much fun there.

And I agree with what Crush Dude said about booking there before the park opens. We did that also, and you do get great pictures!

Another vote for CP with 1900 Park Fare a close second.

Tusker House was very poor - the character interaction was good, the food was good, but a million young kids running riot - no thanks

We loved Crystal Palace a few weeks back. The food was good and the characters took their time with our kids. We had a great server too.

We just got back on the 7th. We usually LOVE Chef mickey's but this time it was AWFUL! Food and Character's. Tusker house was great last yr but this yr not so much. The character's where fun but the food ehh.
This yr we really liked Ohana's and Crystal Palaces. CRT was good too. We've been to all 3 before so we knew what to expect and they didn't disappoint.

My very favorite is Ohana! I love the location, festivities, family-style buffet (brought to you), and characters. But mostly... I LOVE the POG juice!!!

Second choice would have to be Tusker House at the AK. Great food selection and I love that Daisy Duck can be found here!!

Both the food and the characters at Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios were awesome. The playhouse disney characters are perhaps not the most recognizable to all generations but the kids probably recognize them better than goofy! Our kids loved it. The characters did more than just come greet the kids. They did that plus sing and dance with the kids all around the restaurant. And the food was really good.

Even though we are all pretty much adults now (last trip to Disney my youngest sister was 16) we always do at least one character breakfast because it's just something that you HAVE to do at WDW. For the past three or four trips we've done the character breakfast at O'Hana at the Polynesian and we've honestly never had a bad experience there. Any server we've had there was excellent and literally brought us ANYTHING we needed. (There are 6 of us and we have some odd requests like soda at breakfast and my brother only eats bagels.) The character interaction is pretty good although now that we are all older their attention is obviously more focused on groups with younger children. It's also convienent for our MK day. I think once we even scheduled it for the EMH day so we headed to MK, hit a few attractions and then left as the park began to fill up for breakfast and then went back.

The only other character meal I've done was 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian for dinner, so I can't say much about the breakfast selection. I was there with my friend over Spring Break while I was in college and we enjoyed it. The food exceeded my expectations (which were low since it was a buffet) and we got a kick out of flirting with Prince Charming Lol
