but with that said.... what is it about the Stones. if you didnt watch the super bowl halftime show this past year.... the stunk (on a level of quality of sound, singing, playing) but then again, what do you expect from a bunch a really really old rockers.

my point, they arent good live, yet they still get the Super Bowl... i dont think they need any help in the pub business.

Slipknot, way too Xtreme for WDW. I'd be alright with Metallica.

all in all.. They would probably get rid of the 'starring' part and just resort back to 'rock n roller coaster' and use a 'made up band' with customized music.....

  5. how about a bit of hard rock hendrix,mainly his version of jonny b goode
i was going to put iron maiden but thats not really child or disney friendly,
it would be cool to be going through them loops singing to 'run to the hills'.
i personally think it would be cool if aerosmith go,to have something like a 20 track music loop off all the most famous rock songs from all eras,from jonny b goode all the way up to some of the new chilis stuff.
i think that would be cool.
anyone else?

hmmmm, pre-show and post would then have to be a made up band and there for you would lose coolness points since "real" rockstars wouldnt be in the video that everone has seen on MTV.

I'd say that either KISS or Van Halen would be the best pick for a replacement. The biggest problem with Van Halen would be that it would probably have to be Van Hagar rather than actual Van Halen.

They could synch Alice in Wonderland with Floyd's The Wall. I just found out a few days ago that some people synch many films with floyds albums, not just Dark Side of The Moon and Wizard of Oz.

They could play Money in the gift shop. ;-)

If they were to replace Aerosmith, which I hope they don't, I would be happy with the Rolling Stones (which won't happen), or the RHCP.

I don't think this would be perceived well, but Ozzie Osbourne - "Crazy Train".

Ok Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, U2 would all be good choices.
