Question of the Day:

If you could swap a Disney IP with a Universal IP, which two would you choose and why?
I’d let Universal have Alien (and by extension Predator). This world deserves theme park representation - or at least a HHN maze - and only Universal has the chutzpah to do right by horror franchises.

Then let Disney have, oh, let’s say, Back to the Future! Sure it’s an older outdated franchise, but with its retro vibes, and its time travel conceit, I can see this wedging into Tomorrowland with few hiccups.

I'll get glances on this I'm sure, but can't help but wonder what Jurassic Park/World would look like with Disney. Universal has done some good things with it for sure, just curious on the possibilities with Dis. With them so insistent on a dino IP to keep dinos, picturing really good use of the EMV, place setting in AK with the visitor's center and a dino version of conservation station.

For Uni I'd like to see them to have either Deadpool/X-Men, or maybe even Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Percy just seems like something they could pull off, and would be a good familyish land they could use.

I would give Universal Indiana Jones almost exclusively for the sake of saving Dinosaur and clearing up the prime real estate in Hollywood Studios, and I would give Disney Wicked just because Universal is literally bleeding money every year that goes by that they don't put some sort of abridged Wicked stage show in the old Blue Man Group theater. Wicked seems like it would be a perfect replacement for Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast at Studios.

Universal can keep the Simpsons, mainly because I'm horrified by the thought of Disney adding that to their theme parks.

In return, Disney can have Rocky and Bullwinkle. Now THAT'S a beloved cartoon that Universal isn't doing anything with in the parks at the moment. I imagine they'd probably fit best in Hollywood Studios.
