Ok guys..
Totally has nothing to do with Disney..but lately I have had a lot going on in my life that has made me think about things.
I have realized that I have learned a lot of things about life and love and people.

So..while I have all these things on my mind I wanted to share them with someone.
Some are my own thoughts and some are what I have heard before and just never thought about until recently and they make complete sense.

Who better then you guys..considering I probably owe Steve rent for being here all the time..:)

So read these..ignore them..whatever and please feel free to add your own.
Good, bad, silly or serious..share with us what you have learned..maybe we can all get something out of this.

I have learned.....
*To never ever give up, if you believe its worth the fight.Fight as hard as you can.
*That you can do something in an instant that will give you a heartache for life.
*That there are two sides to every story.
*That it's taking me a long time to become the person I want to be.
*That it's a lot easier to react than it is to think.
*That you can keep going long after you think you can't. (not so sure of this one yet;))
*That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel.
*That there are people who love you dearly, but just don't know how to show it.
*That sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.
*That sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.
*That true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance. Same goes for true love.
*That no matter how much I care, some people just don't care back and that is okay.
*That it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
*That it's not what you have in your life, but who you have in your life that counts.
*That two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and who are we to judge.
*To think before you speak
*That it's hard to listen to your head when your heart is telling you something else.
*That there are many ways of falling and staying in love.
*That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't even know you.
*That even when you think you have no more to give,you can always dig deeper and find a little more
*That the people you care most about in life are taken from you too soon.
*That Love knows no boundries..be it age..race..religion...Love is what you feel and what you make of it.
*That sometimes you just need to let go..and be happy with what you had instead of dwelling on what could be.
*That broken hearts really do hurt.

*That there's always an out. We just have to look harder.
*That friends who truly love us will always be there.

*That despite our circumstances we can be strong no matter what.
*That sometimes it's just not worth mentioning.
*That when someone says "don't ask" they really mean ask but you're not going to like what you hear.
*That things may change on a daily basis. But the truth remains the same.
*That life goes on.

*That taking 1 baby step each day is better than standing still.
*That knowing and facing reality are two very different things.
*That moving foward is exciting, not scary.

People are usually about as happy as they decide to be...

Don't take like to serious....it is not permanent...

Friends may guide you, but only you can help yourself...

Some people can make our lives difficult... they can hurt us and scar us... but if we don't rise above that, then they will always win...

We all have pain... we all feel fear... but some people are willing to take on the responsibility to make their own life better.

People who are nice to their friends, and not to a stranger, are not nice people...

Hi Dana -

It's so funny (not funny "ha ha") that you should post this now. I was thinking about you this morning, everything you've gone through with Maggie and how strong and brave you are. I was thinking I don't know if I'd be as stong when faced with the challenges you've overcome...I know we're just board buddies but yours and Maggie's story has really touched me. Thanks for sharing her with all of us.

Ok, enough with the mushy stuff...just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you!

I've learned it's hard to go forward when I keep looking in the rear-view mirror.
(how many people do we all know who can't move on?)
I've learned there are no guarantees in life.

Boy, this tread is speaking to me. Now if I CAN get past these trials.

God keeps telling me to move on and to trust him but I am having a tough time with doing that for some reason.:cry:

((hugs)) it's something we all struggle with susan, we love the familiar...
even if moving on holds far better things, it's too easy to give up what we
know. hang in there girly... ((big hugs))

I know exactly what you mean Susan..
Thats why I started this thread...
Maybe the wisdom and courage of others can help someone else get past their roadblocks.
Its hard to move forward and trust when you are scared of what may lie ahead...
You just got to have faith...:kiss: :kiss:
