I'm thankful for my husband, Dave, who always keeps me sane.

I'm thankful for my kids, who although they've both pretty much left the nest, love me enough to let me still be mom.

I'm thankful for all my friends, here at Magic, and in my real life. What would I do without them?!!!

I'm grateful for the precious time I had this past year with my very dear friend before she lost her heroic battle with cancer.

I'm thankful for all that God has given me, and all that He has not.

I'm thankful to live in a country where I have the freedoms that I do, and I'm ever so thankful for those who defend them on a daily basis, and especially thankful for those who gave their lives for this.

I'm thankful for the 4 new little grand-nieces and nephews in our family this year. Gotta love those babies!!!

and I'm thankful for
chocolate

and ice cream

and jimmies

and Johnny Depp

I am thankful for:
*My family. I’m thankful for the fact that they say “I love you” at the end of every phone call. They support me in all that I do and are behind me every step of the way.

*My friends. As of late I have been reminded of how lucky I am to have them. They are always there for me, even when I’m not the best to them.

*God for continually reminding me that he is here and has a perfect plan for me.

*Aspen, my little puppy, for showing me what owning a dog is finally like. She always brings a smile to my face.

*This place and all of my friends here. Things aren’t the same anymore, but I have tons of wonderful memories to look back on.

*My God given ability to ride horses. The bond made with a horse is something I wouldn’t trade for the world.

*My trip to Australia this past summer. Words don’t even begin to describe…

*My family's health

*The little things like:
Chocolate
Christmas time and Christmas music
Disneyland and my AP
Our upcoming WDW trip
My cats
Warm weather
The beauty snow brings
Flip flops
Technology
Johnny Depp
The Lakers and Angels
My car
Music

I'm thankful for...

Having a roof over my head, no matter it's condition, and the fact that I own said roof.

My daughter-I never knew that so much love could fill my heart, how a hug can "turn my frown upside down," and a smile can melt any frustration away.

My wife-she is my best friend and my rock. I'd be nothing without her.

Being able to visit WDW twice, when I know that there are many others who can't even afford to eat some nights.

My job-as much as I hate it at times, it pays the bills and puts food on the table.

All of my family and friends, including those I've met via WDWMagic.

I am thankful for the opportunity I have been given to spend my time having the greatest year of my life in Montana this year. It has been an experience that has changed me in many ways, and I'm also thankful for those changes. This is a year I'll never forget.

I am thankful for my old friends, all of them, everywhere (and they are EVERYWHERE, let me tell you). They are some of the strongest, kindest, most caring people I know, and I am so lucky to have them.

I am thankful for my new friends out here in Montana. If I didn't have them, this year would certainly not be the same. There is nothing better than making dinner or breakfast with a group of close friends and sharing that meal over great conversations. Meals are bonding time for us, and I'm thankful to have that time.

I am thankful for my family, who understand and support me when I tell them things like "I'm staying in Montana for another year" and "I'm going to join the Peace Corps." They love me and I love them and they know that the decisions I make are the best ones for me.

I am thankful for all that I've learned in the past few months -- and boy, has it been a lot.

I am thankful for my health and the fact that I can pursue all that I want to pursue: hiking mountains and week-long backpacking trips and jumps from bridges into rivers and 6-mile runs and racquetball and yoga.

I am thankful for all the delicious vegetarian dishes served at the University of Montana. Being a vegetarian is very easy out here.

Furthermore, I'm thankful for:

Nalgene bottles
The arts of knitting and crocheting
My computer
Good professors
The states of Florida and West Virginia
My dog, Peko
Ice cream, of course
My new little nephew
Down coats
Libraries having DVDs
The National Park and the Wilderness Preservation Systems
The Bob Marshall Wilderness in Northern Montana
Pancake batter that only requires water to make
Lentils
Saturday nights
The fact that class was cancelled today
Annie Dillard
Goodwill Stores

Among many other things, obviously.

So MUCH to be thankful for:

God's continual reminders of His presence in my life and my desire to make Him the focus of that life;
My husband Mike, who continues to love and support me and prove that he is my best friend and a rock I can depend on;
My children....this will be a long one :animwink:....for my Abby, as she grows both in heighth , but also in maturity...to see the compassion in her eyes toward others and love and devotion to her younger brother. She desires to be a teacher and a children's author, and I see the potential for that in her life. And for my Joel, as he continues to work with the challenges that autism has brought him and rise above them. To see him speak and understand and question things in his life, when before he would not do any of that...I don't know what his future holds for him, but I have hopes that it will be a good one. :)
My family, especially the fact that my parents are both still with me, as it makes me treasure moments with them even more, as well as my brothers and sister and their families;
My friends, both in my 'real' life and here on WDWMagic....I look forward to the times we have to chat on this forum;
and I hope for each and every one of you a wonderful upcoming holiday season.

I am thankful for so much:

For my wonderful husband. He is my best friend and I don't know what I would do without him. Our 2 amazing children, who are a true gift from God. Every day I count our blessings that they belong to us. My family is everything to me. I am so grateful to have them.

For my good health and the good health of my loved ones. I am reminded often how fragile life is, and I take nothing for granted.

For my friends. Both those who I have met in person, and those I have not. I cherish each one.

For our home, our (relatively) stable jobs in an uncertain economy, and our doggies. :D

And a few other things..

ice cream
Walt Disney World
summertime
the internet
Survivor
my blackberry
pizza
the beach
DVR
my annual pass
chocolate
beer
Capt. Jack Sparrow
our fireplace
my new North Face fleece jacket which had better keep me warm this winter

and.... for Dana, who is going to come stay with me this winter and shovel us out everytime it snows. :animwink:

What I am thankful for:

Grace and God's love - I have the Greek word for 'grace' tattoed on the inside of my wrist. It serves as a daily reminder that I can't do this alone, and thankfully I am not in this alone. The past year has given me a true understanding of this word and the gift that all I had to do was accept.

My fiance - Jordan is my best friend. He supports me in all I do, and he makes me laugh until my cheeks hurt (he's not bad on the eyes either :animwink:). I am truly blessed to be loved by him.

My parents - For taking me back into their home rent-free until I get married, for continuing to show me unconditional love, and helping me to develop into my own person.

My family - I am really blessed to be living near my entire family again. My nephew turns three next month, and I love living only 30 miles away from him at this time in his life.

WDW - not only am I thankful for my upcoming trip, but also all the memories this place has given me, and that it will be there to share those memories with my loved ones too.

This website - I love being able to read about others' experiences at my favorite place, being able to share my own, and knowing that there are others who are just as crazy about WDW as I am.

Late to answer as always!

I am thankful for Dan, my husband, I don't know what I would do without him. He lets me smother him all the time and acts as if I don't! When I am sad he makes me happy and I couldn't ask for a better husband!

My three wonderful children. They are the greatest accomplishment God has granted me. This is going to be a hard year for me because Paul graduates High School and Ashley graduates Middle School. Where has the time gone and how am I supposed to let go? At least my little Michele still wants to be with mommy at times!

Dan and I both have our jobs, our health, the kids health and a roof over our head, blessings I don't take for granted.

Lastly, my friends both ones here and ones around me. I don't know what I would do without you guys.

Dana, as always, thank you (you are such a blessing to us!) for starting such a wonderful thread and thank you also for (in another thread) getting me totally addicted to Michael Buble! If you ever head north, you better stop by!
