What happened to pretty Spaceship Earth?

I am here to confirm that I visited Epcot twice in October (18-19) and on both occasions I did not spot any blemishes or "gunk" on Spaceship Earth. Here's some pics for clarification:

I actually found that Spaceship Earth seemed shiner and more defined when I visited.

EDIT: The dark green stuff covering the left of Spaceship Earth is definitely a tree. Just clarifying before anyone quotes my post.
Pretty pictures. And a blue sky.:) Makes me want to be there.

I saw that someone quoted my post and I thought, "Oh here we go again" , but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw what you wrote! Thank you! I miss Epcot already and I visited 2 weeks ago!
Did you have good weather. After reading how much rain there was this past summer, just wondered if it is better now? Glad you had a good time.

We are pretty done with the constant rain, thank God. :D

It's cooled off and the sun is shining. October is the month everything changes. :)

Soon enough, they'll be talking about fires. PLEASE put cigarettes out before you toss them out the window on the highway!!! It's easy to start fires in the winter!!!

We had a horrible summer... Rain was constant, and the humidity was unbearable, but on the 18th-19th the weather was fair. The sun was shining all day, but boy it it steam up later! The temperature went up to 90 that weekend. It wasn't all that bad though. We've been through worse.

Was there between 10/15 and 10/19. I thought the weather was great. We got out just as the temp rose during the weekend and headed to the Gulf.

I was there from 10/11 to 10/20 and it was horribly hot all week. I've seen hotter days there, but that sun was unrelenting. for the first time in all our trips my wife got sun poisoning. :(

OK, I finally saw the gunk while I rode the monorail into Epcot. You do need to be up high to see it. It does look a little icky.
