What do you think is going to be coming to MK in the upcoming years for the Magic Kingdom after the Fantasyland Expansion? Can we expect to wait another 20 + years for another attraction to come to MK?:shrug:

20+ years for another attraction? No way. At least 10 years for an E-ticket I'm sure. But smaller scale projects pop up all the time (true, we haven't had an E-Ticket since Splash, but there have been new attractions and lots of nice refurbishments).

I have a feeling that we're going to see something done with Tomorrowland.
The feel of that place is so outdated...although I do like the "Spaceport" feel...and I like the campiness of it.
If they get rid of the Indy Speedway and utilize the management parking area where the old theater was...they have a lot of space for expansion/attractions.
The Magic Kindgom needs more "off-the-beaten path" paths and a redesign of certain lands could help that.
Think about it...the hub and spoke design is great for a theme park...but it essentially makes the place a large "hallway" of paths. The Fantasyland Expansion helps this because as you come around the spoke, there are paths that lead to other smaller areas with attractions.
Frontierland is really the only other place in the Magic Kingdom that has anything like this. (Aside from the REALLY "off-the-beaten-path" path in Tomorrowland.
Epcot has all of those little paths that go by the Roses towards Imagination...and over by the Odyssey and near Innoventions. Most people walk right down the middle towards World Showcase...so those are nice little quiet paths. It makes the park more quaint.

Hi I'm fairly new to the boards but does anyone know what's coming in after the FLE? Is all we can expect for magic kingdom for the next 15-20 years?

Good question, but nobody really knows.
There's been rumors about Adventureland, Frontierland, and Tomorrowland. More of the the last 2, but anything is possible.
Keep an eye on Shanghai's attractions since WDI loves reusing designs.... I'm guessing something from SDL must be coming to a US park.

Aside from refurbishments, NextGen enhancements, etc., I can't see MK getting anymore expansions for a long time after FLE is done, due to the need to divert more time and money into expanding AK, DHS and Epcot.

I believe it will be just Refrubs for awhile, also heard that the Persian Resort is scheduled to break ground in the next year.
i think one of the things they need to take care of is the algae problem in bay lake and the occasional Alligator that happends to make its way into it.
Probably going to spend more time developing Avatar in AK, and maybe that Monsters INC coaster in DHS

you know silly! the announcemnt that is taking place at the shareholder's meeting on march 13th at the westin near crown center in kansas city, mo where they just so happen to be building a legoland discovery center.
they want to get a piece of the highly sought after kc market (why should merlin's legoland get all the dough) so the bigwigs are going to scout the area for a plot to build disneyland kc (where the magic is in abundance when it's not freezing most the year, and you're not being stabbed)
Some suprises are in store......
