What do you dream about?

I had a really strange falling dream once (AFAIK, my only falling dream). I saw the dream from 4 different points of view, and 3 of them at once during one part! I was a man on a glass elevator, his wife, a young woman, and woman next to the pool about 40 floors below. While I was on the elevator I was the man, then the wife, then both at the same time. Then I was both of them and the young woman as the young woman jumped from the roof and I both saw myself fall from both pairs of elevator eyes *and* saw the pool below me as I was falling. Then I was the woman by the pool but still the woman falling and I saw myself fall into the pool as I fell in. Then I was just the woman in the pool. I can't put into words what it was like to see 3 POVs at once. Has anyone else out there had this kind of dream?

The reincarnation bit can fit into that dream...if I understand the whole reincarnation thing correctly....you see some believe that we come back to the same life from a different perspective if we haven't "learned" what we came to learn from this life. So for example in one life a criminal would be a murderer or a rapist or whatever and in the next life he would be the victim.....

But your dream was....WOW....you must have been freaked out....lol

If I told you my dreams you would think I was a FREAK!

What's that?....You do already?..Oh ok...

My last dream involved a friend of mine flying back halfway thru her WDW holiday to pick up some clothes and fly back   ! I remember forgetting to say bye to her, so I went to Manchester Airport, and one end of it had turned Medieval! There was like a "Ye Olde" english restaurant, and all the walls were made out of logs (and the check in desks), and the desks had candles on them. Incase you were wondering, I never did find her. Funny think was I woke up and didn't know it if was true or not! Bear in mind i'm from the UK and a flight back from WDW isn't like a hop across the pond (well, it kind of is :p ).

*Silence*

Hmm...should I just quit the forums now or later?

I wont even start about the dream where I met Micheal Jackson....:lookaroun ;)

Of course, I have normal dreams, like the usual stuff guys would dream about. Make of that what you want! :o ;)

Hmmm. Reincarnation without respect to a linear timeline. That's something I've never given any thought to. And I've also never considered the possibility of a soul existing in duplicate at any given time. Those are some interesting concepts.

Last night's dream was nowhere near as interesting. Someone had cooked some pepperoni in such a way that it turned clear, like plastic, and I ate a piece before realizing it was meat.

I wish I'd read this earlier! As to the reincarnation thing, my mother in law used to visit a psychic in AZ quite often (stop laughing :lookaroun) and she believed that families actually came back together, but reversed. So, for example, my husband's aunt and her son butt heads something terrible, and Jan's explanation was that in their previous lives the aunt was the daughter of the son. :hammer: Does that make any sense? LOL! But they had to come back together like this to learn to deal with each other.

And I've died many times in my dreams, lol. It always scares the bejeezus outta me. I wake up crying, usually. :lookaroun Now I feel all exposed and vulnerable. I also dream of falling a lot, but I always hit the bottom, and when I do, I actually physically "jolt" myself awake. :lookaroun Now I just feel dumb.

There is no reason to feel dumb about that. I jolt myself awake myself. I've done it when I was attacked by a giant spider, when I was shot in the back of the head, and when I was in a city that was attacked by a missle.

I have never had a falling dream that I can remember. I always fly, but never fall.

OMG! I've had the giant spider thing, too! *shudders* THAT was so bad. In fact, there have been a handful of times, the spider being one, that a dream has scared me so badly that I jump out of bed... middream, and wakeup standing somewhere in my room. I don't know that it would be a night terror, I've seen video footage of people who've had those, and I always wake up as soon as I am standing. Those people seem to not wake up no matter how bad it gets. Quite scary, really. :(

I've had to try and calm my little one (she was about 7) in the middle of the night. I found her running circles on her bed (asleep) screaming her head off. Even the dog's barking didn't wake her. The scary thing is she had no memory of it in the morning.

Giant insects?! Thats another recurring thing with me...LOL....I once had a dream I was being chased by huge larger than life wasps (plural)....

I woke up freaked out...but then started laughing because giant wasps don't exist (Giant meaning the size of a person).....

I'd tell you what I dream about but this is a family website and I wouldn't want Erika, Christy, Jenn, Maria, Babe, etc. to get weirded out by me :lookaroun

(Gary neither)

ok...here's a hint...it involves a 9-iron and a buffalo...preferably stuffed for safety purposes

Ha! I just saw you had posted in here, so I had to come and take a look of what you said, and I see my name! Glad I have been of some help on those lonely nights! :animwink:

I do dream, but I don´t usually remember my dreams well enough to make sense and be able to talk about them. :animwink:

Don't feel dumb. I tend to always hit bottom when I dream of falling too (unless I fly).

And I die a lot. Maybe it's from video games while younger.

My dreams are really weird. They always involve strange things most of the time. Like one time, when I was 7, I had a dream that I was living in Orlando, and I walked outside my door, and there was Cinderella Castle off in the distance. There was an explosion, and then all of a sudden the castle just came down. It scared me, I tell you.

Other times I dream of weird theme park stuff, like just the other night I was dreaming I was back at Disneyland, and it was really different, or the countless dreams of a newBack To The Future...The Ride, which to tell you the truth just freaked me out.

I dream about my family, my girlfriend, school, and whatnot, what normal people dream about I guess. I too get those falling things. I'm just laying in bed, and I feel like I fall really fast, and then my stomach has a weird feeling.

Resurrection! I know I probably spelled that wrong, but ask me if I'm going to dictionary.com at 3:30 a.m. NO!

ANYHOO...

I'm sitting here with Leah (2 year old) because she woke me up SCREAMING at the top of her lungs about an hour ago and pointing and looking at the closet. So I get her calm and ask what's wrong. She asked me "Where boy go?" :dazzle: Is she trying to give me a heart attack? I thought perhaps she was dreaming about a boy or something, but she wouldn't let it go, for 45 minutes she sat straight up and asked where the boy was. (we're at my in law's for the weekend, she sleeps in the bed with me when we're here... if that explains anything) Anyhow, it's 3:30, and I'm very much tired and very much weirded out. She has recovered and is quite wide awake and ready to take on the day it seems. :hammer:

That reminds me of something that happened to my sister and my nephew when he was a little older than 2.

They were in the parking lot of a grocery store and my nephew asked my sister "Mom, why is the old lady crying?"

My sister looked around and seeing no woman said "There is no woman here"

And my nephew then said "Oh..." while staring off and then started to cry.

My sister asked him why he was crying and he said he was crying because the old lady was crying because she was DEAD.

Needless to say, that totally freaked out my sister who then called me to tell me about it.

I told her "It figures... he's related to me."
