What do you do while waiting in long lines?

We talk with each other, and strike up conversations with those around us if they look amenable to it. We've had lovely chats from people all over the world (we seem to meet folks form England, Ireland and Australia most often).

I either will talk with my family, use my iPhone, look at pictures I've taken, or I'll read my Disney guide book. I don't really need the guide book, but the one I had contained a lot of interesting facts about each and every attraction so I thought it was fun to read that while in line and then try and spot some of the things that were pointed out while riding that attraction.

Agreed. We've experienced it often enough now that we just won't queue up if the wait is more than 20 minutes or so.

I don't generally wait in long lines, but if I do, I talk to the people I'm with.

If my sister is there, I will also be talking to people near us in line, as she always ends up talking to them, lol.

Guess I'm a miserable so and so compared to everyone here, as I don't usually strike up conversations outside of my group in line.

Having said that, on the bus back from MK one evening, the person sitting next to me struck up a conversation with me. Turns out she lived just a few moles from where I used to live.

My response was "well, guess the song is true; it's a small world after all!"
