What did you not know then, but you know now (and you feel embarrassed)?

I didn't realize I would need more than a day at epcot, and thought the only rides were in front of the park, and world show case did not have anything except food and gift shops in themed spaces.
I did know there was a great moment with Lincoln at Disneyland until I saw pictures my dad took after we got back from our first family trip there.

It's too early and I haven't had enough coffee, apparently. ;)

While it's not cheap, I will definitely keep this in mind. Sounds like a "treat yo self" kinda day.
We recently did a behind the scenes tour at SeaWorld and enjoyed it a lot. It was a whole lot less expensive though. Got to pet a penguin, so that was a highlight, that and seeing the animal rescue areas.

That sounds super cute. I did Savor the Savannah with my dad in January and we were very pleased with the experience.

I didn't know you could book a 5th, 6th, 7th etc Fast Pass. Everything I read seemed to say something along the lines of "if you use up your three fastpasses you can book a fourth!" So we always just had four and thought we couldn't book any more than that. Mind blown when I found out. Didn't end up being all that great though since all the good rides are unavailable by then.

On a side note - Maybe it's because I'm Canadian but we hated the American Adventure. Walked out a bit early. It just felt like we were being bombarded with American pride propaganda.

Well, in all fairness it is the American Pavilion in America. I agree it's a little boring, but only we are allowed to say that. ;)

I didn't find it boring really, just very very "yeah! America!" Nothing wrong with that of course, just not my cup of tea because we tend to not be like that. I don't mean any offence by it, we just didn't see what all the fuss was about.

Lol everyone is entitled to an opinion. After all, it's an attraction celebrating American history in America... We celebrate our heritage in a profound way for very obvious reasons.

No worries, but if you think Americans are proud, you should see Texans. (Like me.)

Hahaha, aren't Texans Americans?? o_O

I don't see anything wrong with having pride in your country or state. I think it's a good thing. I am proud to be Canadian. I view it more as "lucky" to be Canadian. I am lucky I was born and raised here as opposed to a third world country or something.

Long ago on our first trip to WDW with our DS, we stayed at the still fairly new Wilderness Lodge. At mid-day as everyone advised, we went back to our resort for a break including lunch and some pool time. We went to the Whispering Canyon Café to eat, my DW ordered a burger and asked for catsup for her burger and yes, we got the full, full treatment. My DW wanted to hide under the table but our DS loved it.
