Been a nice weekend here. A little warm but not terrible and not too humid yet. Finally bit the bullet and pushed myself to do 5 miles on Saturday. Did another 4 today. Still struggling to get my fitness level back but the knee feels fine. Injuries stink.

Did Zippo. :( Was supposed to be my long run but with everyone home today couldn't sneak out without getting in trouble. Feel grumpy now. But I'll just do my long run tomorrow. Except it will rain tomorrow...

Sat ended up swimming, Sun did 5k outside, knew about 100 yards in my legs just weren't in it, pace was easily 45 seconds off where it should be. Mon did a 5k race with DS in the jogger, 24:28ish, knocked about 45 seconds off my jogger PR but I really need to find a flat course so I can push that down a bunch. Did a double with another 5 miles of trails, stupidly did them about 1PM with a handful of hill repeats, so more the workout than the pace. Today was bike.

39 minutes training (3 minutes each RWR segment) for W&D. Stats:

2.5m@1%@15:36 avg. Fastest pace was 13:47 or whatever pace 4.3 mph is. Decided Tuesday runs will be hills and Thursday will be at just one incline. Keep thinking about that offramp we ran up after leaving DHS during the Dark Side 10k. :eek:

2 miles on elliptical level 13/20 yesterday. 1 mile today before my workout at the gym. Everything is off this week. Need to get my mid range run in tomorrow. Might skip my short run based on the shortened week.

2.88@1.5i@15:35 avg pace (fastest was 13:10 for 2 minutes).

And THAT completes my 45 minute training run.

3 miles on the docket for Saturday. Think I'll do a 5k. What's another 0.1 miles when you're training for a 10k and half.... :)

3-milers done for the week. Brutal. Like stepping out into an oven, even at 0530.

We're having a heat wave here too. I did my 3.5 miles on the TM to avoid it. Heading out of town for a wedding this weekend and I already packed my running shoes so I can work off a few calories on the TM in the fitness center before eating all night.

25 minutes on bike after 30 minute workout session with trainer. Who is traveling to NY this weekend for a wedding in Long Island. @JillC LI, wouldn't it be funny if you were both attending the same wedding? She left me a training schedule for the two weeks she will be done. And instructed me to log into myfitnesspal to document completion of each session. I guess this mouse won't be playing while the cat is away..... ;)
