I couldn't stand the thought of the treadmill today so I layered up and did 6 miles outdoors.

20 miles today at a 8:45 pace on the treadmill watching my team actually win.

It was rough, but only one more 20 miler to go before Dopey.

Hoping to get a sub four hour marathon time. On track, but it's going to be close.

This week is all about recovery and gearing up for next weeks last push before the taper.

I hear you! I am so happy to be training in 40s and 50s this year (teens & 20s last year), but that might mean a hot Marathon weekend. Hope not.

Tomorrow another 6 miles at race speed

Sunday 12 miles.

Then it's the week of doom (6,6,10,5,6,10,20). But the taper begins on the 21st!

Same scenario here. 6 miles, outside, 65 degrees, running in my summer gear on Dec. 12 in Cleveland. This is unheard of.

Heck no. Course is too hilly. Golf cart for me.

Strong 13-miler this morning, sunny and 50. Very nice. Two girls dressed for church stopped to cheer me on about mile 3. That was nice!
