Don't you hate it when someone doesn't come to theWhen they what ???

Splash didn't flop. It was among the top 10 grossing films of 1984.
Again, citing the exception doesn't make the whole system crumble. The system is by far the best system in that proving guilt is a far greater burden on the prosecution and reasonable doubt is a huge advantage for the defendant. The rights of the defendant ensure that most of the time, and innocent person doesn't go to prison.
OF COURSE, it happens...but I'd challenge you to conjure a better system that never fails and indeed succeeds as often.
I challenged you to find a system that never fails AND is right as often as ours...which means you can't find a system that just succeeds once and call it better. It has to not only never fail, but also succeed as many times. This means it has to do a lot of volume...not some random system in Antarctica that does 1 case/year.How can it never fail if it has failed in the past?

I know people just like to link random studies without reading them, but you do realize this generalized and nebulous study looks at many factors besides criminal justice?
Celebrity cases represent less than 0.1% of all cases handled, so the anecdotel celebrity stories are irrelevant. Besides, Aaron Hernandez is in prison right now.You keep saying it's never failed yet it's been shown to be VERY flawed throughout the years. Again, how can one never fail if it indeed has?
It's certaintly failed when it comes to celebs because a celeb almost NEVER goes to prison for a crime they actually committed.
Anyway this has been derailed long enough, lol.
Norway has lower crime overall, so that's where Apples and Oranges come into play.*Cough* Norway *cough*
Norway has lower crime overall, so that's where Apples and Oranges come into play.
We certainly don't need more people in America for those so critical...perhaps Norway will take you in...
And the award for twisting facts to suit the narrative they want to hear ...Norway has lower crime overall, so that's where Apples and Oranges come into play.

HOLD THE ENVELOPE!!!!And the award for twisting facts to suit the narrative they want to hear ...
HOLD THE ENVELOPE!!!!
It's actually a tie. @Matt_Black deserves a share of this prestigious award, and I for one, will not allow him to be denied what is rightfully his.
Congratulations fellas.
Uhm...US is a melting pot, Norway has far fewer people, is much smaller, has fewer big cities. Culture plays a huge part in crime. Japan has almost no crime because they are almost 100% Japanese and the peaceful culture takes Millennia to develop.Yes, and why do the have lower crime overall? I refuse to believe that Norwegians are genetically less prone to crime than Americans. There most be some societal elements over there that are responsible, and if any of those come from how the government runs things, then maybe that's something we need to look at.
We were never talking about crime anyway...we were talking about the best system and process for defending the accused. And the award for twisting facts to suit the narrative they want to hear ...
And your point is ? Me and others have named many better than the US. Just you don't want to hear it .We were never talking about crime anyway...we were talking about the best system and process for defending the accused.
