Ok, I know most everyone on this site will call me crazy, but right before I moved back to Ohio, (leaving my post as a CM at MK) I decided to go on every ride that I would normally skip in my daily visits to the parks.
On a whim, even though I didn't want to because of all the bad things I've heard about it, I went on Sounds Dangerous at Disney-MGM.
And guess what?
I freakin loved it. It was fun, and very different from any kind of ride or show I had seen at the parks. I have this weird thing with sounds being a musician and all. Forgive me.
So there it is. My two cents.
If I were to change anything it would be to fix all the darn problems with Haunted Mansion.
For example:
bad audio - Been through many, many times with little or no sound in my doom buggie.
worn out effects - Scrims covered with so much dust you can see them, and thus ruining whole parts of the graveyard scene.
thining trees etc. - The fact that you can be standing in line and see the show building right behind the cemetary hill. The "go away" green paint isn't quite working with the lack of trees to help block.
There are plenty more, but I'm boring you.
irv out.
5 days 'till I'm back in the WORLD!
