everytime i try to copy a pic from my pc and paste it into a post, it never works. so if someone can post the pic for me please do.

on thebigger of 2 islands in the middle of seven seas laggon, there is some sort of long chicken house looking structures with what looks like storage containers right in the center of the island. what are these?

If it`s the one I think you mean this is where the launch the `mirror` for the New Years eve fireworks show.

Bacially every shell that is launched from the north launch area is also launched from the island at exactly the same time, so you get a duplicate `mirror` of the main pyro.

all those islands, this one, discovery, and the others, im thinking that if i were to rent a boat, maybe i could get on one? is this allowed, (word used loosly, obviosly its probably not allowed, but is it enforced?

No way. Strictly enforced. And monitored.

Not to mention you`d be in a whole lot of trouble if caught on this island. It`s an offstage pyro zone.

The lifeguards on their boats arn`t just there for on water safety.

i dont get it. why not open this back up, call it pirates island or something? or how about a limited addmission overnight "Tropical island" camping trip, kinda like discovery cove, but the idea being your shipwrecked on a deserted island and you have to worry about natives.

OMG!!! I GOT IT!!!!

As others have said, this is absolutely not allowed and strictly enforced. I remember when I drove the Friendship Boats at Epcot that one of the first things that we were told is to stay well away from the islands and the buoys in the World Showcase Lagoon as they all belong to the Illuminations fireworks crew. Even if you weren't really close to the islands or buoys, if the Illuminations crew felt that you were too close for their comfort, you can bet that you would hear them calling your manager over the radio! I would imagine that it is no different over at the Magic Kingdom.
